This is Frank Atisso's first ever attempt in building a homestead and it turned out amazing! I'm impressed with his talent and hard work... and I'm glad that I got the chance to help him bring this beautiful project to life.❤️

Low tide patterns in the sand - San Felipe, Baja - Mexico on the Sea of Cortez.

A big ghost crab sitting on a rock that gets swept over by the incoming tide.

When I set up for this shot, the tide was coming in while the run off from recent rains was racing out to sea. This time of year can be one of both severe weather, and contrary atmospheric conditions. In other words, time to get out with a camera. While the conditions are uncomfortable, the resulting photography can be uniquely wicked looking.

When working on this shot, the rain was coming down, then stopping, then starting up again. Regardless, I wanted to get as low as possible without getting my lens wet from the rushing river of run off. The sky lit for a brief moment with the sun setting, making the background very colorful. Combined, there is raging movement, with welcoming warm colors. These contrary conditions combined forming another one of natures seemingly opposing states.

The tide was so high today. Just wow!

So good to be out again today! Had intended getting away but we ended up at Seaham. The tide was really high and I grabbed the opportunity to capture the waves cascading over the curved pier.

Another variation on movement of the water, following my recent posts.

After months of longing and waiting, at last we were FREE to drive the 2hrs to the Yorkshire Heritage Coast, Scarborough.

It was a lovely outing, everything that fresh May-green, not warm but sunny.

We were filled with hope.

we arrived in this colour place that is Scarborough.

But we were so surprised to see it so empty and so many businesses CLOSED. I

It looked dull, the sky now low and menacing, we drove the whole promenade, both bays, enjoying everything.

And the: the rain started, torrential.

We remained wisely in the car: overlooking the deserted beach, only the gulls bathing in a frenzy.

After almost an hour, Paul decided to go home, it looked so hopeless.

I said, why not take another tour, maybe drive up to the canter, otherwise too full and busy?

And up we went, driving around, and arriving at the top of the hill, I saw that it seemed a little brighter and was coming our way, it was however still raining and dark,

We parked and decided to wait a little to see what was to be?

It slowed down, the view over the North-bay was breathtaking.

At last the sun was back, brighter than ever, waterI had taken s hot before, out of desperation, but now the light was back!

Have a great day and thank you for your time, Magda, (*_*)

Usually if I am out shooting on a cloudy or foggy day, I am thinking about what will look good in black and white. But sometimes color works too.

At one of my favorite places on the California coast, Davenport Landing, Just north of Santa Cruz, California.

Phone shot of low tide at Brisbane's Nudgee Beach. Schulz Canal flows into Moreton Bay on the right hand side, dividing civilian land from Brisbane Airport and the new runway. Further off, the Port of Brisbane at the mouth of the Brisbane River. The port is actually built on reclaimed land that is always stretching further out into the Bay, the real original mouth is a fair way west behind those mangroves.
