Hurricane on the way to St Augustine as I post this. So, I am hoping in the tides, too.
This wasn't the right day for long exposures, but the light was dull and the clouds were moving quite ok. So I had to try. The problem was the never ending showers of rain and sleet. This one came out ok, despite wiping the filter all the time.
So this is the south side of the Dutch Island Terschelling. A co-incidence that it was low tide where neat small islands popped up. The atmosphere with no wind and high temperatures made it a great summer feel. The next day I biked up here with my family, all was covered with seawater. Thanks all for your comments and favs

Sigma 28mm f1.8 lens with yellow filter. For some reason, my Sony thinks my Sigma 28mm f1.8 is a 100-300mm zoom: oh well!
This is 'Ebb Tide' - a floribunda rose.
Bred by Tom Carruth in the USA, in 2004.
Deep purple, almost black buds open to reveal double, medium size, old fashioned, blooms of velvet purple that are intensely fragrance. Deep green foliage. Just over 1m tall.
Photographed today, Saturday 4th December, 2021.

Everyone had left apart from a couple of die hards over at Gwynver beach a little further along. I retrieved my wet gear (yes my camera bags had to be dried out as well as my shoes ) but I glanced longingly back and this little bit of weathered fencing caught my eye -well not my eyeball if you know what I mean lol.. so a last pic before we reached the car park. Well when I say the last there are about another ten in the middle but I would hate to bore anyone and have many more I hope to share with you.... happy Sunday everyone and I'm still catching up btw, but definitely not winning yet sorry :(
Spring tides have nothing to do with the season, but are more to do with the moon’s cycle. With all that said, the trees were blossoming, the tide was high, and the full moon had just set. So by all accounts, a Spring Tide!
Shot at Barton upon Humber, looking towards the Humber Bridge around sunrise during official Golden Hour.
Actually I thought the image needed some people interest so I asked my son to walk over to the waters edge.....Unfortunately he slipped and that is the imaged that was captured!!!!
Twisted knee and a graze captured for posterity 😁😁😁......
