...for a while again. This last year I've felt like a yo-yo - up & down & not knowing what's going on.
My thyroid took a dip in the spring, unknown to me, as it happens fairly slowly. My doctor increased my thyroxine (replacement thyroid hormone) & I thought I'd be fine. It had been fixed 17 years back & remained stable so I thought this would be a quick fix too. I felt better for a brief while then started to feel real crappy again. And my mood was volatile & feeling downright murderous towards jerks & idiots (which is not normal for me).
Seems it went too high & so another adjustment needed to be made. It'll take a while - maybe a month - to even out & for me to know how it is. In the meantime, I'm feeling ornery, bleak, ache all over & restless yet tired at the same time. I hate this "not me" feeling so taking a break till I return to normalcy (whatever that is).
Had to post a photo of my very much missed boy. It's hitting me hard right now not having a kitty to snuggle up to. On the bright side, I visited my son & daughter-in-law for a while, took lots more photos of Celes (I'm her un-official choice photographer) & got to snuggle & cuddle with her lots. That felt good! I can't wait till she's older so I can show her bugs & all sorts of interesting stuff.

This is what I was served for breakfast the day after my surgery to remove my thyroid. This is a call for reform of hospital food! Puuuhlease! I contribute this nutrition to my 3 extra (unnecessary) days in the hospital.
This was in a solar panel producing lab...for some reason this place creeped me out like no other. I took maybe 7 photos and here is a non-blurry one.

Thyroid w/ nodular goiter. Ultrasound scan shows isoechoic nodule with halo.
FNA's are helpful for diagnosing benign cystic nodules which may require aspiration but are benign and monitored
