Pepsi brought back their original recipe (aka made with natural sugar) for a short time. I really enjoyed it.
My morning ritual starts with a bottle of Diet Pepsi, but today I found a bottle of Pepi Throwback, the one made with real sugar and not that stupid high fructose corn syrup. Pepsi should really think of making it this way again.
DeGrazia demonstrated his talents in the studio of NBC’s Today show in 1960 and received this letter from producer Robert J. Northshield. “I enjoyed your appearance on the TODAY show this morning very much and I am most anxious to let you know how grateful I am for your help. I rarely get a chance to get to the studio during the taping of the show, but I watch it on a closed circuit in my office and again, with my family each morning. Your performance was enjoyable in both instances. Thank you again from the entire staff of TODAY.” Happy Throwback Thursday!
In the early 50's DeGrazia started working on ceramics. This is when he perfected his copper-based glaze. NBC studios recorded a newsreel, called 'Watch the World,' where they filmed DeGrazia and Marion making these ceramics. He used original molds and his inspirations were taken from desert shapes and colors. Happy Throwback Thursday!
The first draft choice in franchise history and the first overall choice in 1966, linebacker Tommy Nobis.
I had a thing for fighter jets growing up. My Dad and I built an aircraft carrier for some metal models I played with. Interestingly enough the CVN-77 is the USS George H. W. Bush who was the President at the time this picture was taken.

I've actually toned down my pop drinking (yes, I'm from the midwest, it's pop) as of the last few years but I usually keep some at home. Over New Years, Tim brought over a case of the limited edition "Throwback" Mountain Dew. Now, I'm not a big fan of MD, but personally think it tastes better with real sugar.
