another one of my throwback jerseys, the timeless 1997 Michigan Charles Woodson.
this was, of course, the season the Wolverines split the national championship with Nebraska and C-Wood became the first primarily defensive player to win the Heisman Trophy, narrowly besting Peyton Manning and Randy Moss.
when i came across this in Foot Locker in the mall, it was on a rack with other "instant classics" from the late-90's, including Michael Vick's Virginia Tech #7, the Miami home orange #6 Santana Moss (and oddly, Bernie Kosar's #20 from UM).
i can only imagine how much the Vick jersey's worth these days.
The new Chevrolet Camaro, in terms of styling and power, is a throwback to the original Camaro of the sixties.
With ana availabel 376-cubic-inch V-8, how can you go wrong? (The base engine is a 217-cid V-6.)
This Camaro looks fast even standing still.

Many sidewalks in Lower Manhattan are hollow. Right under the sidewalk is a basement. Trucks still park up on them to make room on the streets for other traffic to pass.
Ok NYC crew, here's my Throwback Friday for ya. Picture taken in 1996. This was (and still is) my best friend Erin. I wore the crap out of that Georgia Tech hat, and stil have it somewhere.
In the early 50's DeGrazia started working on ceramics. This is when he perfected his copper-based glaze. NBC studios recorded a newsreel, called 'Watch the World,' where they filmed DeGrazia and Marion making these ceramics. He used original molds and his inspirations were taken from desert shapes and colors. Happy Throwback Thursday!
