Happy "Triple" Throwback Thursday. Today, thanks to Margie Phipps, we've got our hands on the AUMC millennium addition membership directory.
Throwback Thursday: This is a little different from my usual TTH in that this is a picture of may family and not of me.
This my Great Grandfather, Cecil "Paw-Paw" and my Great Grandmother Martha "Big Mama", holding my Great Uncle John Thomas and my Nana.
I had not seen this photo before since ive been going to visit my Nana in recent years. I had been under the impression that i looked through all her family photos but here it is.
This is circa 1928 or 1929. They were a poor family and barely got by on the meager salary that her dad got from the newspaper he ran with his dad and her mom's salary at the AT&T switch board operators job. They made the best of it though.

For your Throwback Thursday Enjoyment! Check out Nana Follett sporting heels and a skirt while standing atop a dismantled track system and tightening a bolt in an engine cover.
She also worked for Landes Tractor Co. in Preston, ID and even did some modeling for them as well.
Happy Throwback Thursday! We're sticking with the ground breaking motif (last week's TBT photo was of the ground breaking for our first Sanctuary.) This is the ground breaking for the current Sanctuary. As always if you have any info on who is in the photo, date, etc. shout it out in the comments.
The gentleman on the left is Richard Thomas. The gentlemen on the right is my father Estil Brumfield! There is a lot of history there from these men that were very devoted to AUMC. I'm very proud of my parents and all they did for AUMC, and even more proud of the lifelong friends they made that watched over them their entire lives. God indeed is good!
