"pensa a quanta gente che è passata già di qui
quanti tradimenti e matrimoni
pensa quante volte
sembra proprio che non va
e poi cambia tutto in poche ore
e non è scritto da nessuna parte
che io e te
avremmo avuto vita regolare
non è mica vero che tristezza ed allegria
sono distribuite in modo uguale..."
"Pieno di vita"
I'm not really up on all the snazzy hashtags permeating social media these days, sorry.
American Airlines "throwback" A319 to the "Allegheny Airlines" Vistajet livery was a sweet surprise today.
“Too many painters today have forgotten the important lesson, that true art is life-interpretation, not merely an exercise in technique."

When Im doing a group shot I always make a solo pic of them and see if theyll go along well. I remember these first playline girls that I was really inlove after I was into "small head playline" well I hope I can make their head smaller, I know I can! Lol
After his early paintings were first published in Arizona Highways magazine, DeGrazia traveled to Mexico City to work with mural masters Diego Rivera and José Clemente Orozco, who sponsored a solo exhibition of DeGrazia’s artwork at the prestigious Palacio de Bellas Artes in 1942. Happy Throwback Thursday!

I can't possibly imagine who I would be if God hadn't placed my best friend, Aimee, in my life. She has been with me through the good, bad, and ugly. "A good friend knows all your stories; a best friend helps you write them." And she really has. I appreciate her so much and hope that she realizes that she is loved beyond belief! #mysister

Something I like about this particular throwback is that I had no idea this car existed before!
Ive lived in California all my life and If I haven't seen one here then I'm sure my chances of ever seeing one are pretty slim. What I found in this ad that this vehicle was sold in only 4 US States. 1 Dealer in Arizona, 1 in Hawaii, 2 in Nevada, and a Whopping 26 dealers in California!
I wonder why California was such a big market for it. It was pretty much offered in all the big California cities!
In the early 1950's DeGrazia started working on ceramics. This is when he perfected his copper-based glaze. NBC studios recorded a newsreel, called 'Watch the World, where they filmed Ted and Marion making these ceramics. He used original molds and his inspirations were taken from desert shapes and colors. Happy Throwback Thursday!
After the mass reproduction of DeGrazia’s oil painting “Los Niños” in 1960, he became known as one of the most reproduced artist in the world. As Marion DeGrazia recalled, “When we went to New York, when they were doing the UNICEF card Los Niños, we went in the gate and these great, tall Swiss guards said, ‘Oh, you can’t come in here’. He was wearing his boots and his cowboy hat. And just in time, somebody from the party came down and said, ‘No, he’s the guest of honor. Bring him in’…It was for children, of course. They sold, they say, a million boxes.” Happy Throwback Thursday!
