Beginning with his Masters Thesis paintings in the mid-1940’s and continuing through the mid-1950’s, artist Ted DeGrazia produced a small number of nonrepresentational abstract oils, watercolors, and screen prints. Although these pure abstracts account for less than one half of one percent of his known work, DeGrazia repeatedly explored the style and devoted serious attention to it for more than a decade. Moving with his family from Oakland, CA Robert Spray settled in Tucson, AZ where he established a silkscreen shop. He began painting portraits as a student at McClymonds High School, which led to a scholarship at the CCAC. During the 1930s he was employed on the Federal Art Project. Screen printer Robert Spray beautifully captured Ted DeGrazia’s artistic style and color palette in this series of prints he produced for the DeGrazia Studios in the early 1950’s. Last throwback!
Its been a year! I had sooo many that I liked and couldn't decide which should have been the last one.... I ended up with a headache and picked at random.
I guess I picked this one because its a forgotten vehicle and its popularity has risen greatly over the last couple of years. I remember in my young model car building days Challengers where my fave....

A throwback to when HK was under British rule at Lantau Island. A traditional post box, though now in HK Post green, seen at the ferry/bus terminal.

Throwback to the time when she used to be naked. I just want to appreciate the quality Samara came to me with. I bought her from a previous owner and she kept the doll in amazing condition. Samara looks like she's brand new! I'm so grateful for it!
This week we are going back twenty-nine years to RA 230 passing through St. Stephen's Green dressed for route 15A.
Route 15A started running between the city centre and Whitehall Road in Perrystown in 1949. In 1978 it was extended to Greenhills, and around 1982 it was extended to Limekiln Farm. For a decade in the early-2000s it shared a terminus with route 19A, but that route displayed Limekiln Avenue as a destination, whereas the 15A displayed Limekiln Farm. In 2011 the city centre terminus was moved to the Grand Canal Dock area, and the destination displays were updated to show Limekiln Avenue. In 2015 the route was rerouted away from St. Stephen's Green and strated serving George's Street instead. Since 2021 it has terminated in Merrion Square.
RA 230 was new to Dublin Bus in 1995. The buses delivered that year were classified as RH like the buses delivered the previous four years, but due to differences between the batches, the 1995 buses were subsequently reclassified as RA. It was withdrawn in 2008 and sold on to another Irish operator.
The bus was one of the Wedding buses within the fleet. They could be hired by wedding parties to shuttle wedding guests between venues. The last bus was painted out of Wedding livery in 2017.
