All the way back to 2012. One of those shots that never got posted, but should have.
Funny how seeing a really old shot like this puts you right back there, when you took the shot.
From a decade ago. A westbound goes through the interlocking at East End Miller City. Sadly the classic NKP signals are now gone.
While watching the Superbowl this afternoon, I reworked some of the old photos I took with Topaz JPEG to RAW AI. Just like these slow moving rocks, it 's a slow day today. Also this is one of the most bizarre places I have been to. These slow moving rocks are far more exciting than the Superbowl.

Went up on Cavehill one evening after work with a friend, back in March 2017, just 2 months after moving to Belfast.
Restored Southern Railway SD40 No. 3170 sits tied down along with 3 standard Norfolk Southern SD40-2s at the 105 year old Gainesville depot after completing work on P48.
When 403 is leading a train of veteran DM&IR cars it is fun to pick a spot to "hide" the trailing CN painted power. Here 403 leads a load of Minntac (U711) pellets south between Coons and Munger. This could have been a shot before 2004, if not for a tiny hint of CN red visible through the cab.
Group portrait of mine and my mom's dogs, back in 2015. The spaniel puppy there is now a five-year old adult hunting dog. And all of the three big girls have now passed away already. Miss them. May them rest in peace in doggy heaven.
Today as I perused files nothing caught my eye for fence fFriday--but I had recently found this while going through boxes of old photos brought home last spring after cleaning out the farm house. This is me, about 2 1/2, along with my brother, climbing a fence on our family's farm. Hff and happy weekend, everyone.
The MRL 840 local pauses at East End Winston for a westbound. Much to our surprise and delight, the westbound turned out to be a solid consist of baretables led by an ex-ATSF Warbonnet.
The sun poked through for a bit onto Wheeling & Lake Erie "heritage" unit GP35 #108 as it leads three more GP35's and train 701 along RT43 north of Hibbetts, OH.
Another spectacular and truly “typical Mongolia” location visited during our summer tours is the wide grassland and steppe of the Bayan and Khoolt Passes. With countless photo angles, curves, gradients, and an impressive variety of trains, this area is a true paradise for railfans... especially diesel traction lovers ;)

Hallgrímskirkja is a Lutheran parish church in Reykjavík, Iceland. At 74.5 metres high, it is the largest church in Iceland and among the tallest structures in the country. The church is named after the Icelandic poet and clergyman Hallgrímur Pétursson, author of the Passion Hymns.
