I forgot to upload the full thread sketch of my dragon. I used the paper as a stabilizer. On the real thing, I'll use some sort of fusible interfacing, I presume.

In the 1980's my mom used to give tea parties in her garden room to some of her luckiest students. It was an adorable activity as part of a school fundraiser. My grandmother loved the idea and purchased these aprons for the event at an antique store.
Now that the sweater is finished, I started piecing my quilt. While looking for some white thread, I found this box of thread, all on wooden spools, that I'd forgotten we had. Such pretty colours!

It's a featherless Sunday again.
A beautiful non-stinging wasp, this Thread-waisted Wasp is about a half-inch long and flies about any flower it can feed on and even inspects the dead flowers. I'm not sure if this wasp feeds on other smaller insects.
