Al-Badr Seribu Selawat Mosque located on Pangkor Island in Malaysia, has 1,000 prayers carved on the walls and pillars of the mosque, inside and out.

Strange to see there are thousands of uploads of forests in the autumn and just a few in the winter. There are still moments of light and colours in the woods. Here's an upload of a little and young dutch forest in winter time. I saw the light and tried different types of processing.

I went back to Miami and finally got some nice perspectives of Dame Zaha Hadid's building. Previously the sidewalk views were closed due to construction.
The lines and curves are spectacular, as you can see.
(I'll visit when I can. Those 13 hour drives are exhausting, especially in a U-Haul)

A natural spectacle of the first order approx. forthy miles from Berlin.

Thought it would be another moose, didn't you? Instead, I've been processing more of my sunflower images from last Saturday and wanted to share this one. It reminded me of a quote I heard years ago by Corina Abdulahm-Negura who described a sunflower field as a "sky with a thousand suns." Thus, the title.

Species: Fringilla montifringilla.
Similar in size and shape to the chaffinch, the male brambling has a black head in summer, and an orange breast with white belly. In flight it shows a long white rump. Gregarious in winter, it may form flocks of many thousands and often joins with chaffinches. Numbers can vary between winters depending on food supplies. It is a Schedule 1 species. Info:RSPB.

Here's a "tasty" image for you today of some Red Vines. No, not the candy, I'm afraid. These vines love to grow along chainlink fences, but create the most delightful subjects come autumn. It's not just the brilliant red color (though that helps), but also the great contrast of the dark fence that creates a great amount of contrast. Though the focus system of the 5D Mark IV doesn't seem radically different on paper, it is actually vastly improved in every area, and it's a treat to finally have DPAF on a full frame body.
