52 Weeks 2012, week 13 - Seeing
The third eye (also known as the inner eye) is a mystical and esoteric concept referring in part to the ajna (brow) chakra in certain dharmic spiritual traditions, in particular Hinduism.
I really do not have any idea about this mask/plaque though. I would say that it has African or Polynesian origins in its style but I am unaware of any real significance in the concept of the 'third eye' within those cultures, much less the idea of stitching the actual eyes and mouth shut.

i think i continued to open the wound up for a few more days after this. somewhere around day 12 was the last time i removed all the scabs.
This is not exactly what I had in mind, but time was running out. I'm glad I tried it though.
I have noticed that lately, I've been inspired quite a bit. I have tons of ideas for pieces, videos, even photos sometimes! So this is my way of saying that it's really cool.

J'ai remarque que dernierement, je suis pas mal inspiree. J'ai des tonnes d'idees pour des poemes, des videos, et meme des photos! donc c'est ma facon a moi de dire que c'est plutot cool.
