Jaisalmer had organized for Janmashtami a costume contests for children. Boys were supposed to dress up as little Krishnas (in his cowherd outfit) and girls as Krishna s most famous lover Radha. The story has it that Krishna and Radha were childhood friends, fell in love, got separated by a very Shakespearien twist of fate, and only met after a lifetime of waiting for a much celebrated marriage.
Morning pages in my art journal. Words on the left page read: "I found a picture, I found a platform...I found myself and my path..." Materials: Pen, Hand Made Modern acrylic paint (found at Target), Tombow marker, and Martha Stewart craft paint.

I am having a blast experimenting with painting my pen and ink illustrations with tea.This is a piece inspired by Wednesday Adams. I did a limited edition print run, and hand painted each print with tea.
