Third graders at Spring Mountain Elementary School (Happy Valley) worked with Young Audiences' Maranee Sanders on a mask making, writing and movement residency. In these photos, students are shown learning the techniques of mask movement such a facings, levels, posture, traditions of assuming character in other cultures, rhythm, use of hands for paws, feet, and sensing the body from the inside are included.

Warm up for the State Fair Midway with zany carnival games inspired by some of the MIA's best-loved artworks! It's all part of Art Perchance, the annual party thrown by the Friends of the Institute to raise money for some very worthy causes.
Play 9 art-based carnival games; in true Third Thursday fashion, all games are free. Win great art donated for the event by outstanding local artists; revelers who contribute to the cause earn chances at winning. Frolic to live music by The Alarmists, cocktails at the cash bar, and nonstop fun in the great outdoors of Target Park.

Sometimes the lack of thought in us creates a place within me that is deeply frustrated, frustrated with our ability to think we know it all and in the face of possible hurtful consequences, consequences we still think we know it all, know it all. Took this photo of a Creekview banner at Creekview highschool.
I had to lean on the side of the rail and set the camera there in order to take this photo.
I wouldve liked to take the photo from a higher angle to improve the photo.
1.) I chose this particular photograph because, it embodies multiple guideline characteristics: including rule of thirds, simple background, and a subtle diagonal. Also I feel like the content of the photo is quite dynamic, vibrant, and in sharp focus.
2.) The aperture used in this photo was F/8.0, and the shutter speed was 1/200
3.) Throughout the editing process I cropped the photo in order to properly place the bee, and see the bee in detail. I also used a histogram, and manipulated the light and dark values in order to balance, and add depth to the photograph.
4.) To achieve this photograph I not only had to avoid the possibility of being stung, but I also had to properly time the arrival and departure of the insect, as well as adequately zoom and place the bee.

VicRae Inc. and Triple 7 Entertainment present Third World in concert, featuring Donahue Jarrett and Tessanne Chin, held on April 5, 2011 at Highline Ballroom, New York, NY. Hosted by Pat McKay, of Sirius XM's 'The Joint', and Dahved Levy, of Caribbean Fever. It was an excellent show. Third World fed the huge hungry multitude with hits after hits in spectacular fashion and demonstrated what makes them great. Rising reggae artistes Donahue Jarrett and Tessanne Chin were also brilliant.
Three organizations presented Third World with awards for their great achievements as a reggae band, in the following order:

3. Unchained Forever, Inc. - www.unchainedforever.com
Reggae legends Third World recently released their 23rd album, titled 'Patriots'. The performance is part of their promotional appearances. 'Patriots' is an irie-awesome album. You really should get it.
