Third Thursday: Rebellion on February 19, 2015 at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City, MO, featuring a poetry slam, lectures on rebellion, happy hour, art activites and live music. Photograper / Don Ipock.
After seeing all the great photos taken with an MPE65 ... the stars aligned and I was lucky enough to find a lens for a good price so with Xmas money and some savings I am the proud owner of one very heavy piece of glass.
It is a very interesting lens to use .... not what I was expecting. My technique with the Tamron 90 needs a lot of adjustment before I get used to using this new lens.
It was windy and raining in Brisbane today so bug hunting was difficult, especially with the small depth of field at the higher magnifications.
I took several photos of things on the dinner table and it amazes me what this lens lets you discover at 5x multiplication.
I am looking forward to the journey that this lens is going to take me on ....
PS:
First shot was the lettering on the box and the second was some tinsel ..... both not very exciting.

Third generation of SEAT's compact class competitor. The León III has been in production since 2012 and is based on the Volkswagen Group's "modularen Querbaukasten" (MQB) platform, the same platform that forms the basis for the Golf VII.
I always found the León to look sportier than the corresponding Golf and the León III is no exception. The red paint of this particular example serves to highlight the well executed lines and proportions of the model.

Pedestrians had a rough time making their way during the regrading of Seattle’s
streets. Looking north on Third Avenue is Washington Hotel, soon to be
destroyed, and the Plymouth Congregational Church, which survived until 1911.
