The Third Mind - Carte Blanche Ugo Rondinone is one of a series of exhibitions at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris / France, which gives an internationally renowned artist the freedom to conceive an entire exhibition. This time Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone had carte blanche and among the artists presented are Robert Gober, Toba Khedoori, Sarah Lucas, Paul Thek, and Andy Warhol. Third in a series. One of the stern lines has just been pulled taught and you can see the water that was wrung out of it disturbing the surface alongside the other line that is still in the water.
The third stop on our ''Highlights of Ephesus'' sightseeing excursion was a visit to Cittantica Ephesus Park -- a tourist attraction in Selçuk based around the nearby historic site of Ephesus (Efes). The park features a large souvenir shop, several smaller vendors, and numerous dining options. I tried to capture a shot of this statue-topped column and pedestal in one of the courtyards, but the sun was so bright that I apparently couldn't see that I cut off the top half of the statue... ;-)

This series of pictures is part of a test of a new technique with the Lomography Pop 9 camera that turns it into a one third frame camera.
A third film dedicated to the extraordinary botanical garden green houses, Parc de la Tête d'Or, Lyon, France, on February 27, 2023.
I used again a brand new 36-exposure Fujifilm Super X-Tra 400 film but this time with my Canon F-1 SLR camera (year 1973) and its wild-angle lens Canon FD 1:2.8 f=28mm (1979).
The film was exposed for 400 ISO following essentially the Canon F-1 "semi-selective" metering confirmed in some cases by my Minolta Autometer III fitted with a 10° finder for selective measurements privileging the shadow areas.
In the warmer and humid tropical green houses, I had to wait about 20 min to leave the camera temperature to equilibrate enough (outside temperature 6°C, inside 30°C) to get no water condensation.
The Canon FD lens was equipped with a Hoya "X-Dry" UV-protection filter (55mm) without shade hood.

After exposures the film was deposited for C-41 processing in local shop and was then film digitalized using a Sony A7 body fitted to a Minolta Slide Duplicator installed on a Minolta Auto Bellows III with a lens Minolta Bellow Macro Rokkor 50mm f/3.5. The RAW files obtained were then processed in LR and finally edited to the final jpeg pictures.
All views of the film are presented in the dedicated album either in the printed framed versions and unframed full-size jpeg accompanied by documentary smartphone Vivio Y76 color pictures.

About the camera and the lens:
I bought this Canon F-1 a year ago in April 2022. The body is stamped "N1129" (in the film cartridge magazine) indicating that the camera body was manufactured in Japan in November 1973 while the FD 28mm lens is stamped "T102" on the rear baffle indicating a construction in the Canon factory in January 1979.
The camera was used very carefully with almost no sign of age. The photometric circuitry needs, as most of te SLR of that time, a 1.31V mercury oxide battery that I replaced by a Kanto MR9 adaptor for a SR43 silver oxide battery.

Having taken loads of photos of Leicester Square station, I headed towards Piccadilly, mainly to take a few photos of a police telephone post halfway up Regent Street.But, because I only had so long to do this and because i didn't know how far I'd have to WALK along Regent Street, I decided to leave it.
Instead, I settled for Piccadilly Circus station, which like Leicester Square, was rebuilt in the 1930s and this is one of the many directional signs dotted around the exits, in this case either to Piccadilly (north side) or Regent Street (St James's)
More of the old Dodge truck in the Distillery. Starting to play a little catch-up on my uploads, this was taken the same time as 'Dodge and Burn'.
Third time lucky. An iconic location I was back again for my third attempt to capture an image that satisfied me. The location a 20 minutes drive from my sons house in Chapel where we where staying on grandchild minding duties. This was our first morning and looking at the week ahead the best chance of getting some sort of atmosphere. I’d calculated if I got up a 4am 90 minutes later I should be at the top of Chrome hill, at 5:31am I took my first photo from the top. I’d picked right we had mist, they’d be no chance of this repeated in the week ahead as wind was forecast, if anything I had to much mist. I started from the top and made my way down picking of compositions as I travelled. With a composition chosen I would wait as the scene would change from minute to minute as the mist rolled through the valley, now you see it, now you don’t. Slowly I picked of my photographs and decided to climb the next hill, then disaster. Nearing the tree in this image I slipped on wet grass, I was careless, carrying my camera on the tripod I fell then rolled into some nettles, I yelp. My first thought was the camera OK, I’d fallen awkwardly to protect the camera, hence the roll into nettles, then I thought good it’s my left leg I can still drive the car. I tried to stand fearing I’d broken the ankle, slowly I put some weight on it and wiggled my toes and decided it was only a sprain. I hobbled through the gate by the tree only to see the sun make it’s first show some 45 minutes after sunrise. I took a quick photo then the photographer took over, I needed to get back up the hill for the composition I wanted, the photo you see now. All that was left to do now was a slow hobble 1.5 miles to the car.
I don't know exactly the name of the flower but it looks really fascinating in the eyes so I took a shot of it and this what it turned out to be.
