In this photo I think I have effectively utilised the rule of thirds! I like the composition of this photo quite a lot! I also think this photo invokes a powerful feeling. This picture was taken of an illegal gambling gathering. And one can only assume to lookout has an interesting story to tell...
The third annual FailFaire DC was an amazing celebration of failure as a mark of leadership and innovation in deploying information and communication technologies in the developing world.
We proved that failure is no reason to be ashamed. Failure shows leadership, innovation, and risk-taking in pushing the boundaries of what is possible in scaling ideas from pilots to global programs. There is great value in examining our mistakes as we go beyond the easy and the simple. So while we encouraged irreverence and humor, we improved our profession through speaking honestly about failure.

The third annual Corby Mardi Gras took place in Corby town centre and Thoroughsale and Hazel Wood on March 28, 2019.
A large number of acts performed for the people of Corby, including King Brasstards, GBRT Sax Choir, Highly Sprung, Deep Roots Tall Trees and many others contributed to the success.
These paper sculptures were created by arts charity Same Sky.

third fm scan. still only 256 images. this is the resulting frequency image, a corollary to the usual phase image. which is one step before generating the disparity.
here i'm using some balanced + interpolating zero crossing to find the frequency. i also solved some bugs in the previous version of the code that was producing some shot noise.

Norfolk Southern represents the third generation of operators on the former Des Moines Union Railway's terminal operations in Des Moines. This scene has been captured over the decades under all three carriers - from the flag of the Wabash to the thoroughbred of the Norfolk Southern.

On November 12, the Civil War Preservation Trust and the Shenandoah Valley Battlefields Foundation announced a $3.35 million campaign to save the neighboring 209-acre Huntsberry property.
