My little vice can be used as a third hand tweezer. It's a reverse action heatproof twizzle, good for soldering. I made the vice from a tractor piece.
I wanted to use a flash - but the only flash I have was from my old A65, so it came out of retirement for these shots.

The Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) is the world's largest military air show, held annually over the third weekend in July, usually at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire, England in support of The Royal Air Force Charitable Trust. The show typically attracts a total of 180,000 to 185,000 spectators over the weekend.
The Red Arrows will be doing a fly-by every day for their last UK show of 2019. A British Airways Boeing 747, painted in its iconic British Overseas Airways Corporation (BOAC) livery, will perform a dramatic flypast with the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team on Saturday.
This year features more than 30 air arms from over 20 different nations, which means the Air Tattoo is the best place to see military aircraft on display to the public. Confirmed aircraft includes two Spanish Navy Harriers, the Ukrainian Su-27, US Air Force F-16 Viper Demo Team, Frecce Tricolori, and RAF F-35B Lightning.
Astronaut Major Tim Peake will be at the airshow on Friday in the Techno Zone as part of this year's Air and Space theme to inspire the next generation of the air force and space industry.
He will be interviewed by Carol Vorderman in the Bader Marquee at 9.30am. The Techno Zone will have an array of space-themed displays and attractions throughout the weekend
A flypast celebrating the 70th anniversary of NATO is planned for Friday and Saturday - the only official NATO flypast taking place at a UK airshow this summer. Saturday's tickets are sold out, so if you haven't booked a ticket yet, Friday will be your only chance to see it.
The flypast will include three RAF Typhoons, a NATO E-3 AWACS, three Belgian and Dutch F-16s, a German A400M, a German EF2000, a German Tornado, a French KC-135R and three American F-15s.

Park Avenue resides in a stretch within the Manhattan street grid between Third and Fifth Avenue. In fact, originally Park Avenue was known as Fourth Avenue. Along this road in the 1830s used to be a rail line that cut through Murray Hill (a neighbor that we visit at length in our Lower Midtown walk). To beautify a stretch along this rail line, a green space was created between East 34th Street and 40th Street. This six-block stretch of road parallel to the rail was aptly named “Park Avenue” in 1860. The street has obviously extended on a few formal occasions. It currently begins around East 23rd Street (near Madison Square Park) and extends as far north as Harlem (up to East 135th).
Depending at what time of the year you are walking along Park Avenue, you will notice that the medians are always well decorated. During summer, begonias are often blooming here and during winter, a Christmas tree is planted. In 1945, the first year the Christmas tree was placed in the median; it was supposedly decorated in colored lights which caused multiple accidents based upon drivers who confused the colors with the traffic lights. Since then, only white lights have been used.

PARSHVANATHA
Parshvanatha (Pārśvanātha), also known as Parshva (Pārśva) was the twenty-third Tirthankara of Jainism. He is the earliest Jain leader (c. 877–777 BCE) for whom there is reasonable evidence of having been a historical figure. On this famous Indologist, Heinrich Zimmer note:
The foundation of Jainism has been attributed by Occidental historians to Mahavira. There must be some truth in the Jaina tradition of the great antiquity of their religion. We have grounds for believing that he (Parsva) actually lived and taught and was a Jaina.
LIFE
BIRTH
Bhagvan Parshvanath was born in Varanasi, on the tenth day of the dark half of the month of Paush. Pārśva was the son of King Aśvasena and Queen Vāmā of Varanasi. He belonged to the Ikshvaku dynasty.
MARRIAGE
Prabhavati was the daughter of King Prasenjit of Kushasthal. She wanted to marry Parshvanatha. Yavan, a powerful ruler of Kalinga, wanted to marry Prabhavati. So he attacked Kushasthal but was defeated by Parshvanath. King Prasenjit, then, offered Prabhavati's hand for marriage to Parshva in reward.
RENUNCIATION
He lived as formal prince of Varanasi and at the age of thirty, he renounced the world to become a monk. He meditated for eighty-four days before attaining Kevala Jnana. He achieved mokṣa at the age of one hundred atop Shikharji, which is known today as "the Parasnath Hills" after him. Pārśva was called purisādāṇīya "beloved of men", a name which shows that he must have been a genial personality. He remains beloved among Jains.
PREVIOUS BIRTHS
Marubhuti - Visvabhuti, the prime minister of King Aravinda had two sons, elder one named Kamath and younger one named Marubhuti (Parshvanatha). Kamath killed Marubhuti and died as a criminal.
Elephant - He was then reborn as an elephant in the forests of Vindyachal. His name was Vajraghosha (Thundering Voice of Lightening). Meanwhile, King Aravinda, after death of his minister Marubhuti, renounced his throne and was leading an ascetic life. When the elephant came near Aravinda, he recalled his previous human life by the blessings of Aravinda and became calm. Kamath was reborn as a serpent this time. One day, when the elephant went to a river to quench his thirst, the serpent attacked him and he died the peaceful death of absolute renunciation.
Sasi-prabha - Vajraghosha was reborn as Sasi-prabha (splendor of the moon) in the twelfth heaven and the serpent went to hell.
Agnivega - After spending a luxurious life in heaven, he was reborn as prince Agnivega (strength of fire). He ascended the throne of his father which he later renounced to lead an ascetic life. Kamath was reborn as a serpent again after hell and again killed the ascetic in Himalayas during penance.
When he was a prince he saved two snakes that had been trapped in a log in an Kamath’s fire. Later, the snakes were reborn as Dharnendra, the lord of the underworld kingdom of the nāgas, and Padmavati. Dharnendra and Padmavati sheltered Pārśva from a storm sent by a Meghmali (Kamath reborn).
LEGACY
According to the Kalpa Sūtra, Pārśva had 164,000 śrāvakas (male lay followers) and 327,000 śrāvikās (female lay followers) and 16,000 sādhus (monks) and 38,000 sādhvīs (nuns). He had eight ganadharas (chief monks): Śubhadatta, Āryaghoṣa, Vasiṣṭha, Brahmacāri, Soma, Śrīdhara, Vīrabhadra and Yaśas. After his death, the ganadhara Śubhadatta became the head of the monastic order. He was then succeeded by Haridatta, Āryasamudra and Keśī.
Keśī is believed to have been born about 166 to 250 years after the death of Pārśva and to have met the ganadhara of Mahavira, Indrabhuti Gautama. Their discussion about the apparent differences between the teachings of the two tirthankaras is recorded in Jain texts.
Pārśva is the most popular object of Jain devotion. He is closely associated with compassion, although he is free from the world of rebirth like all tirthankaras and therefore unable to aid his devotees personally.
Guru Gobind Singh has penned life history of Parsavnath in a composition called the Paranath Avtar, which is included in the Dasam Granth.

Kite Aerial Photograph of Third Beach, near La Push, Washington. This beach is beautiful and not too busy, as it is a bit of a hike down through the woods to reach it.
I like this photo because it shows the beach line from near to far, with Teahwhit Head in the distance, and I like the energy of the children and that they give some sense of scale.
Other than adjusting levels and sharpening a bit, this did not require any rotation or cropping, as the camera was pretty level.
Taken by hanging a camera in an AutoKAP rig from my kite string.
Our third full day at Disney was to be our big day. We had tickets to "Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party" that night. Things started off decent at EPCOT. We rode our favorites, and hopped on the Frozen Everrafter ride with a Fastpass.
We decided to eat at downtown Disney and elected to get there a different way. We took a bus to the Port Orleans French Quarter, and then boated to Disney Springs from there. We had been thinking of checking it out for a future visit so it worked out well.
We ate at "Chicken Guy" which we both decided was pretty meh, and soon made our way back to the room driven by the need to escape the heat.
Recovered and in Costume we went back to the Magic Kingdom for the Halloween Party. We checked in as Honey Lemon and Fred from Big Hero 6, and did a couple of rides before stopping in at Citricos for dinner.
We returned to the park for a great night. We rode a bunch of rides, did some trick or treating, saw the Parade, and had a great spot for the firework show. We checked out a few more things afterwards, and then headed out for the night.
