Third Beach, Olympic National Park, just south of La Push. View to the south, toward Taylor Point and "Graveyard of the Giants". This little stream was our play space and offered an active lesson in how stream meanders form. Over its several curves, the outside edges were rapidly cutting deeper into the sand, making the sand collapse over and over as the stream bit into the curves. Meanwhile the inside edges had slower moving water and rapidly growing sandbars.
Third Beach, Olympic National Park, just south of La Push. It looked like we might catch some low tide tidepool action, but other than a few starfish, not much. The waves were crashing nicely though.
The third and last race of the day is under way on the Hudson River. Five of the six competitors are barreling to the second mark, while the winner is not even in sight. The rudder of the catamaran AC45F of Emirates Team New Zealand was caught at the start in the anchor line of the starting mark. All other five competitors pulled off with wind and strong currents while a crew member jumped overboard to free the boat. The buoy also punctured the port side hull of the cat - nevertheless Emirates Team New Zealand won the race. The Louis Vuitton America's Cup World Series races were held in May 2016 in New York City, after a break of 96 years. The boats are AC45F catamarans with hydrofoiling daggerboards, rigid wings, and five man crew. The teams are: Oracle Team USA [OUSA], James Spithill (Australia), Land Rover BAR [LBAR], Ben Ainslie (United Kingdom), Emirates Team New Zealand [ETNZ], Peter Burling (New Zealand), Softbank Team Japan [TJPN], Dean Barker (New Zealand), Groupama Team France [TFRA], Franck Cammas (France), Artemis Racing [ARTR], Nathan Outteridge (Australia).
Maybe not an everyday dish , but once in the while it hits the spot , also not guaranteed to be slimming

The hallways are well-lit and open for artists to display their works. The "party deck" is still under construction, and the lousy weather prevented me from shooting out there.

OPEN TO INTERPRETATION
The Imagining Series
A series of four pieces telling the story of an oncoming apocalyptic storm due to hit a small habitation in the hills, cut off from all other civilization.
[third] speaks of the moment before the wave of anihalation hits. The civilization cowers in the bottom of the frame as natures prowess evolves into dominance.
This is my interpretation. I would be overwhelmed if some of you would take the time to view the series (with the best results being achieved whilst viewing large and on black: View On Black) and comment below with your interpretations. I am very keen to hear your interpretations on what is on the surface a series of cloud pictures - but below the surface is, to me, so much more.
