The motel offers some of its guests an opportunity to park their vehicle in a small garage. Inside each garage, murals are painted depicting various scenes.
This is the last garage I was able to photograph. The other fourth one was closed when I was there. Thinking back, I should have asked Bill the owner if he could open it up for me.

The statue of Abraham Lincoln statue has sat at atop Bascom Hill on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus for more than a century. The statue is a replica of Adolph A. Weinman's original, erected in Hodgenville, Ky., where Lincoln was born. Lincoln is considered a patron of the university because he signed the Morrill Act in 1862 to provide federal aid to land-grant colleges such as UW-Madison.
Rubbing Abe’s extended foot is said to bring good luck. In another tradition, graduates celebrate by climbing atop his lap in cap and gown for a photograph.

Mittens wonders if there will be more fishy treats forthcoming if she stays still enough for me me to take some more photos. She's such a lovely girl -- insisting on kneading my tummy before dinner to aid my digestion ... or maybe not.

This one is from the ones i took with my canon yesterday night. The light lines has been created with a small lantern, the same that i've used to light the face. I've increased the contrast with lightroom
