Young Heworth wing George Atang is caught in a pensive moment against fellow amateurs Oulton Raiders during an all-National Conference League Division One Challenge Cup first round tie at Elmpark Way, York. The host Villagers won 22-6 to set up, at the next stage, a visit to League One semi-professionals Hunslet. Atang scored Heworth's second try; his first for the senior side.

I was laying in my bed last night thinking about everything and nothing. Felt the sudden urge to pick up the camera and take a picture.

I don't know why I'm having this problem where whenever I focus the subject (mostly on the face), lock it up and recompose, it seems like the focusing goes somewhere else like on the grass or hand. This only happens with my Nikkor 85mm f/1.8. It never happened to any lenses I have used before including my lense Nikkor 18-200mm which works perfectly fine.
Therefore, to make the subject stays sharp (especially on the face), I have to compose first instead of focus, then move the focus point to the subject's face (luckily D300 has 51 focus points!), lock it up and snap. Then only it will be sharp. I wonder why...
