Design Thinking Workshop with Success Beyond Limits

I saw an albino black bear in the forest, bleaching and weathering here for decades. Eternal plastic, just as you'd expect it, hanging on unwilling and unable to die. He'll survive us all, and our children's children, sitting on these roots until someone finally steals him away. Sometimes, I start thinking that my days stretch out of reach. They add up on me, get high and lonesome until they topple to forgetfulness. That's really why this daily journal means so much to me. I used to get worried about not making much of life, letting weeks or months blur together in a way I couldn't divide them. But for nearly 13 years now, I've broken them up with words and pictures, making sure that I wouldn't be mistaken for complacent. For 4,599 days to this point, I've kept it up without fail. So even if my time is somewhat in question, I still know I'm making a memory that lasts.

The thoughts, the chaos, the dreams of the void

De la sesión de anoche aún quedan imágenes. El rastro ha sido creado con una linterna y enfocado con la misma brevemente el rostro dejando la sombra. Se ha acentuado posteriormente este efecto con lightroom

This one is from the ones i took with my canon yesterday night. The light lines has been created with a small lantern, the same that i've used to light the face. I've increased the contrast with lightroom

Here I am lookin' for signs to lead me,

You hold my hand, but do you really need me?

I guess it's time for me to let you go,

But I'll be thinkin' about you,

I'll be thinkin' about you.

When you sail across the ocean waters,

And you reach the other side safely,

Could you smile a little smile for me?

'cause I'll be thinkin' about you.

I was passing by this and I thought, if you don't take this shot, you are going to regret it later. This is the downtown parking gestapo at work. They are relentless. You park there and even think about not thinking about paying and you have a citation. I'm literally terrified of these people. They have these tiny booth offices with no lights on, and they sit in wait like hungry hyenas and the moment they see the feet walk away, they are out with their black scanners meeting quotas.

When I was in Louisiana, I was doing a photo shoot across the street from this major hotel, and I asked my client like 20 times if it was okay to park where we were parked because I could see the PEA (Parking Enforcement Agents) circling like buzzards over the nearby lot. We checked and where we were was fine, but not the case for the hotel lot. We came back from the shoot and were just sitting on a bench catching a breeze, and a fight broke out because this lady got the boot over night. Then another couple came and had like 2 citations, then 10 minutes later another guy got into a fight with the lot because he only ran in for a minute and got a 75$ ticket. I know this, because he was yelling this amongst other things at high volume. Talk about tough job. I know it is there job and they are just doing it, but literally no one likes them. No one. The one AND only ticket I have ever received in my life, in the 13 years I've been driving, was for ALLEGEDLY...UH-LED-JED-LEE...parking too close to a stop sign. The only reason I was parked there in the first place was they were doing construction at work building our new bigger two story parking lot, and we were forced to park on the street, but with 100 employees all having to suddenly park in limited street parking (and the nearby apartment residents pissed beyond believe that they too now had no parking), there was no room for blocks, and it was the only space I could find and not be late and what do I get...a $45 fine. I am stillll pissed to this day and that was like 6 years ago!!! Ruined my record..well not really as it doesn't go on your driving record...but I USED to be able to say I'd never gotten a ticket for anything...but no.

I'm sorry, what was I talking about?

Ah yes, my glasses full of regret. I found today, in a dusty box, my original aviators. The ones I loved because the tint was black. My current ones have a Sepia tint and I hate it because everything sort of looks yellowish. Anyway, the sun was on brightness level 1,029 today, but of course when you're taking pictures, you don't want to have a barrier between you and your subject, so I was constantly taking these off and putting them back on. I did drop them once midtown, but heard the clink and scurried to pick them up. So I took this shot then walked into the Earth Day Festival and I thought I heard a clink but I turned round and there was nothing I could see but I kept going. Halfway through the park I realized the Aviators...I just found...were now gone. Seriously! I was like, I'm going to now have to walk the 7 blocks back blinded by the light to get to the car as well as drive with no glasses...which I just found again today only to lose them. Thankfully it occurred to me that my replacement aviators were in the car so 7 blocks later, I was in Sepia vision.

ferry from fazana to veli brijun. taken with om-10, handheld, with a 19mm/3.8 vivitar attached. i used color negative film and made it a b/w photo through photoshop.

i copied this text from a website:

The Brijuni islands (also: Brioni Islands)

Only up until a few years ago, the islands were closed to the general public as they were the summer residence of President Tito and the top officials of the former Yugoslavia. Over the years, almost 100 foreign heads of state were received by Tito on the islands. Many film stars were also guests of Tito, including Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, Sophia Loren and Carlo Ponti, and Gina Lollobrigida. Nowadays, the islands are open but the facilities are a bit rundown, as little money was spent on their upkeep after Tito's death. The group of islands consists of 2 larger ones and 12 smaller ones and they were given National Park status in 1983.

The largest island is Veli Brijun, at 1,700 acres (5.6 square km), and is 2km from the coast. It is especially green and is covered with Mediterranean vegetation. The island also has a safari park which is home to various animals, many of them given as gifts to President Tudjman, such as zebras, giraffes, bison, camels and deer. There are four hotels on the island and they are accessible from the port of Fazana, near Pula, by boat.
