Goose, Cherry Hinton Hall duck pond.
Well, the geese were a bit hissy so maybe they were thinking of Christmas.
Everybody in our family prefers a goose to a turkey for Christmas lunch. The only downside is that the bird doesn't stretch that far. Or maybe that's an upside (turkey rissoles, anybody?)
Active Assignment Weekly - Bench.
I've not taken part in AAW for a while - things have been a bit hectic, but this week's was one I could actually partake in.
Had a walk by the river embankment today in beautiful autumn sunshine. A little while earlier, this was the scene of the Remembrance Day service. This chap was snapped, sitting here, thinking about - well, who knows.
WIT:
Just a shot and a little crop.
For my Flickr friends - I value your friendship so much. I hope this will cheer up those who are having a difficult time at the moment for various reasons. Thinking of you all.

as I continue to take the battery out, I still have not reset the clock on my D5000. This photo should be dated 6/10/13
I am thinking about picking up the cornet. As in playing it for real. Making a switch. I played a bit in high school. There is an old ugly horn that has been sitting over in the corner for a couple years that needs a minor overhaul, but it's playable. Half the finish is gone. Or maybe I'll try it some other day.....
supposed to be going to a Wedding but the poor girl's got all the troubles of the World on her shoulders....thanks for looking
Thinking of you is easy - I do it every day. Missing you is the heartache, that never goes away.

I don't know about you but I do a lot of thinking whilst on the loo. With nothing else to do, all I do is think of stuff. Today, I thought about how to plan my Operations Management report, best way to modify my tripod, how much have I eaten today, etc etc.
What do you think of whilst on the loo? lol~
A minimum speed of 30km/h might be too much to ask on certain parts of the mountain road F208 from Landmannalaugar to Eldgjá. After fording the river Tungnaá, the road climbs the Kirkjufell mountain before dropping into the Jökuldalur valley, where one essentially drives on the river bed on a 10km long ford.
I used the stamp sets Stitched Frame for the sentiment and Antique Engravings for the butterfly images.
Comparisons are easily done
