Thinking about all my lovely friends I will miss meeting this year as a result of the cancellation of the 2020 Keystone Transgender Conference. I realize that it was a wise decision and I know a painful one as well. My girlfriends here at home are so thoughtful trying to cheer me up and they certainly have. Over the coming weeks we will be visiting some safe local venues. Stay safe and well my darling friends. We will meet again next year.

When most of the snow is gone, everything seems to be gray and dirty around us. There have been cloudy days and rain lately and although the days are getting longer they are still shorter than the night.
Then it is good to have an old summershot to remind us there will be summer again with light nights and colors.
This is one of the new crop of Tri-colored Herons that we have on the bayou and they have been busy foraging for food as of late. They are usually pretty accommodating and will let a person get fairly close. I was able to get in and get my shots and then back away for this shot. This particular youngster was just perched and not really looking for food.
