We all need to have those flights of Fancy, that take us to mountain tops, or deep blue seas........ It is also good to keep our feet firmly on the ground.

I did manage to shoot a couple of shots where I span the propellor , but as I was doing this hand held they were too blurry to use.

Der Hauhechel-Bläuling überwintert als junge Raupe. Die ersten Falter erscheinen im
Frühjahr Anfang bis Mitte Mai, die letzte Generation fliegt bis Ende Oktober. Je nach
Witterungsverlauf und Region erscheinen zwei bis vier Generationen pro Jahr.
Der Hauhechel-Bläuling gehört zur Familie der Bläulinge. Die Männchen sind auf der Flügeloberseite einfarbig blau.
The common blue hibernates as a young caterpillar. The first moths appear in the
Spring early to mid-May, the last generation flies until the end of October. Depending on the
Weather pattern and region appear two to four generations per year.
The common blue belongs to the family of the gossamer-winged butterflies [family Lycaenidae] The male are solid blue on the wing top
If you smile when you see a butterfly, you have happiness in your soul.

We have several quail families in our backyard and I have become so attached to them. I bought this sculpture at a local art fair last year. Amazing how they adapt to our harsh summers.

For Looking close... on Friday theme, "things with wings". It's a story of a young girl dying of cancer who believed that folding 1000 cranes would grant her a wish. One version of the story has it she only made it to 644 before passing away and her classmates finished the 1000 cranes.
