You’re not early. You’re not late.
Life is not a competition, it’s a journey. Trying to live it as a sprint instead of as a marathon can’t do anything but drain your energy. Sprinters too, they train for years to preparare only few races, they spend hours to run seconds. Likewise, some may be built for frenetic paces, yet they don’t force themselves through the extreme just because they see others do better.
Whether you’re one of those people or you are a slower-paced one, you can’t live up to standards that are not for you by nature.
The main goal is living the process, enjoying the experience it gives you and eventually soaking up its reward.
What you really want will stay there waiting for you even if someone gets there before you do. Same as for those who were behind you. Persistence and constancy are of an infinite availability: they get you through the journey and to the destination if you feed them with patience.
Time itself is a concept humans made up. Feeling it is inevitable, but letting it overwhelm you is gonna lead you nowhere in life.
Don’t rush, but don’t delay. You have your own hourglass in your hands, make sure to use it properly.
Things take time.

In this project I chose to play with the phrase “see through things”, because I feel that I lot of things in our life can have different meaning and different impact and effect, as, for instance, genetic engineering was perceived as an absolute good at first, but then people started to think of different effects it might have on our life and realized it can cause a lot of damage. So, to illustrate my idea I chose transparent material of different colors in which I cut out the actual words of the phrase. I placed them in layers one after another on the eye level, so that the viewer would stop for a while and really “see through things.”
so this is the expensive touristy eggs n things. i think i may try the french toast and get a tummy ache.

You will see people sell local handicraft everywhere in Sapa, from big streets to tribal villages. Handicraft here is all self-made by the ethnic minorities people.
These handicrafts are unique in design and have a high quality. The colors and patterns on the items represent the different tribes of people, and it is interesting to figure out which is which.
There are tons of items you can buy, from bracelets, anklets, and headbands to scarves, jewelry, handbags, shoes, and carpets – each with embroidery intricately sown with love and care. Stop by some colorful stalls, and we are sure you will not come out empty handed.
