Not all childish things should be left behind. Especially one's sense of wonder.

Special thanks to the always handsome, charming, kind and generous Bri for helping me bring my vision to life. Kisses!

This is what I do when I'm bored! I took a picture of a crystal ball in the snow on my deck and then had some fun creating this image and a few others.

remember how it used to be

when the sun would fill up the sky

remember how we used to feel

those days would never end

those days would never end

remember how it used to be

when the stars would fill the sky

remember how we used to dream

those nights would never end

those nights would never end

it was the sweetness of your skin

it was the hope of all we might have been

that fills me with the hope to wish

impossible things

but now the sun shines cold

and all the sky is grey

the stars are dimmed by clouds and tears

and all i wish

is gone away

all i wish

is gone away

all i wish

is gone away

*many thanks to my dear friend Tre Meldazis, that allowed me to work in this peaceful and gorgeous SIM to take the pic :)

Saw this little fellow in a park down the street. He was just standing there perfectly still, not moving at all, lost in a secret world of his own.

Until his mom called for him.

Last day in Az tomorrow. Then back to Florida till late April.

It's been a wonderful winter.

Hope you are all well.

( My first experiment with macro )

"The sea is always speaking to us. It never stops. The question is, are we listening?" - "The Little Mermaid," by Hans Christian Andersen

Are we listening? That’s a good question. Many people hear what others are saying, but they don’t process it because they are not listening.

If one were to take a moment and listen to all the things around us, would it change us? Would it change the way we think? Perhaps it would, and perhaps that is why many chose not to . . ..

Macro Mondays - Trinkets

Hey, I need those earrings. ThankYou.

Just in time.

Happy Macro Monday

This I know is 6 years old but I have no idea what it is or where I took it. I thought it was about time to get it out of my Flickr-to-go file.

It’s just an old grain structure on a country backroad, but it seemed interesting enough for a shot. Rusting away, abandoned....but striking against a blue fall sky, at least to me.

Pine tips and two tiny cones beginning to form. With appreciation for Monique’s style.

Laowa 2x 60mm macro lens rented from www.lensrentals.com, a good professional rental company in the US; I have purchased used lenses from them in the past after trying the lens, including the nikkor 500mm f/4.
