CN L517 heads south through Ivanhoe with a GTW GP9r, CN SD60F, and a CN SD40-2. Originally the SD60F was supposed to lead but they put the GTW unit on the front.

To the left is the line Kodinar which has been "temporarily suspended" since 2015. Most of the track still is in place, but with bits a pieces missing and almost certainly never to see another train.

Seeking an escape from time was foreign to the anticipatory faith of Abraham, Moses, the prophets, and Jesus. What their faith sought was not an escape from time but time’s fulfillment. Time, at least in prophetic faith, is not to be avoided but cherished as the necessary medium for the swelling of expectation.
Time is something to be indwelled, not sloughed off; and deep time is a fertile field for nurturing an ever-more-expansive anticipatory faith. The mystery of God, in this setting, is not to be explored primarily by returning to origins. Nor does the mystery of God need to be located up above, or hidden inside human subjectivity. These may be important portals to the experience of God, but as I have been proposing, we may look for God especially in the unfathomed depths of the hidden future to which the universe is now awakening. It is to the Absolute Future that we may still lift up our hearts.

Took the camera along today walking the dogs in a local park as I missed the opportunity yesterday with them and the colors are starting to change on some of the trees, the pretty clouds made for some fun captures while waiting for the sun to pop out between the clouds.
