When I glanced at this table, the light happened to be hitting my Kindle and Switch joycons just right, so I couldn't resist a quick shot with my new phone camera (which itself is working out quite well).

コタツのほうにふと見たらこんな魅力的な光があったので、最近購入したスマホのカメラで撮影してみました。なかなかのものだと思います。

....when even warthogs can smell you!

seen on flea market in Hamburg

While in Blue Ridge, we were in an antique shop and I photographed this display of items from long ago. ...I wonder what we will think about present "everyday" things when we see them 20 or 30 years from now? ...I think we will look back on them with fond memories and they will bring a smile to our faces. Hope this simple picture, but yet powerful reminder of the past, will bring a smile to your face.

Enjoy this day!

It’s an easy ride to roam

You’ll never walk alone

Naturally we blew

Simple things we say

Everyday we find the way

Seems like we’ve opened up the door

Feels like we’ve walked this way before

Naturally we blew

Simple things you say

Everyday you'll find the way

It amazes

Leaves of my liquidambar tree, swirled by way of Photoshop. The We're Here group is looking at swirly things today and I'm not sure if this counts - I'l remove it if it doesn't :-)

Explore # 495, thanks guys!

Here's my 10 things 'cause I was tagged by: http://www.flickr.com/photos/colinfftl/ and http://www.flickr.com/photos/39182313@N04/

So should I'm gonna do 20?...

1. You guys can call me Catie, really... Catherine isn't necessary.

2. I have a sick obsession with Jack Barakat from All Time Low.

3. I don't drink, smoke, do drugs.

4. I like my freckles.

5. I own 10+ pairs of sunglasses.

6. I'm trying to read 50 books by December 31st... I'm on my 23rd.

7. I'm a sucker for acoustic.

8. I don't do mornings well. That constitutes anytime before 12pm.

9. I'm scared of needles and spiders.

10. I've moved 4-5 times, but have always lived in the same house.

11. I have a '98 Subaru Impreza!

12. This is how old I was when I got my braces off.

13. Music is my favourite thing, ever. Everything from Queen, to All Time Low, to Frank Sinatra, to Brand New, etc...

14. I don't like my first name... it's boring.

15. I blush at everything.

16. I am this old!

17. This is my favourite number.

18. I know all the words to 'Lullabies' by All Time Low, 'Hands Down' by Dashboard, 'El Tango de Roxanne' from Moulin Rouge, and the Fresh Prince theme song...

19. I wish I went to Hogwarts.

20. I'll leave this one open, you guys can ask me a question in the comments and I'll answer it... yes, I'm that lazy and unimaginative.

Now considering I don't know anyone too well on here, I'm just tagging innocent victims... :D

Posted for the Jules Photo Challenge for January 2017.

The challenge is to post 5 things you love about yourself & 2 things you dislike about yourself during the 22nd to the 28th.

For this one, a like about myself: Not afraid to try new things.

This day just happened to coincide with a reception for a photography show I was involved in. My local photo club decided to do our own show and we were able to find space at Redland's Community College in El Reno, OK. If you happen to be in the area, feel free to check it out!

So used to creating virtual galleries and sets online that I hardly ever print my pieces. Was gratifying to actually get some things out in physical form. Hope to do more of this.

(In addition to the photo challenge, I plan to be posting shots from the Women's March of OKC as well. A huge turnout. Unlike my usual, I plan to post to both my FB page and here for this set.)

chloe rollerball (smells so damn good) + homemade lip scrub. sugar + honey + argan oil. perfect for pre-lip staining.

Our friends got us these onesies down at Disney and the boys have finally gotten big enough to fit in them. I know I have plenty of other pics of them in this same pose, but I just had to post them in these outfits.

I returned my Panasonic LX5 and got a Canon s95. I think I just understand the Canon language better.
