Introduction

After Li Jie accepts the work of Almighty God in the last days, she thirsts for God's word and forsakes everything to expend for God. Two years later, she is chosen as a church leader. As she performs her duties, the arrogance, conceit, and desire for fame and benefits of her satanic nature are exposed time and again: When she sees the sister she is partnered with promoted, she becomes jealous, and finds herself living in a negative state; at meetings, she deliberately exalts and testifies herself while belittling her coworkers, and tries to make her brothers and sisters look up to and admire her. Because she doesn't pursue truth, and instead walks the path of an antichrist and pursues fame and status, she loses the work of the Holy Spirit, cannot do practical work, and is dismissed from her leadership duties. After losing her position, she finds herself trapped in refinement, and through readingGod's words and reflecting on herself, she comes to realize she was compelled to pursue fame and status, resist God, and rebel against God against her will by the arrogance and conceit of her satanic nature. In the judgment and chastisement of God's word, she finally awakens, and sees clearly that the essence of her pursuit of fame and status is to walk the path of an antichrist. She begins to hate her satanic nature, and comes to understand that only by pursing the truth, fulfilling the duties of a creature of God, and obeying, loving, and satisfying God can she succeed in her belief in God and be approved by God. Later on, she focuses on pursuing the truth and soundly fulfilling her duties, and no longer relies on Satan's toxins to live, but rather lives by practicing the truth and relying on God's word. Gradually, she escapes the bondage of fame and status, and her soul finally gains freedom and release.

Bryn Oh Blog : The path

The Path is an immersive project based around the exquisite corpse concept sometimes used by the Surrealists. Essentially, each chosen artist adds to a composition in sequence. Eight artists were invited to stand upon one of eight different coloured boxes I had set up. Once all had chosen a box to stand on, a chart was rezzed which listed the order of colours which would hten dictate the sequence of artists to compose the scenes for a narrative.

So if red was the first colour on the chart, then the artist standing on the red cube would begin the narrative. If blue were next then the artist on the blue cube would continue the story after red had passed their part on to them.

The artist who goes first composes a short start to a story. They then pass on this segment to the artist who is next on the list. That artist would then write up a continuation of the narrative and pass it on to the third artist. This would continue until reaching the eighth and final artist.

This was the random order of artists:

We seek many things in this world to bring us happiness and inner peace. We set goals and work hard to achieve them. But in doing so, we often neglect our inner needs--the desires of our spirit. We struggle with the push-pulls between inner and outer worlds. Quiet time alone renews us and helps restore our life balance. Solitude is not a luxury.

Quiet times alone bring us back in touch with who we really are. They relieve the stress that afflicts body and mind. Daily responsibilities create what seem like insurmountable obstacles to a peaceful solitude. But we pay an enormous price for ignoring our inner needs. Solitude is not a luxury to be enjoyed only during vacations. We cannot store up its benefits in some spiritual account for withdrawal during the rest of the year. What matters is that we resolve to set time aside each day to honor and nurture our inner selves.

From nature we learn that our creative work in the world requires time for inner growth and change. Seeds receptive to nutrients from earth, rain and sun become the lovely blossoms.

All of us live the magnificent journey of life with our due share of ups and downs, twists and turns. Some of us get astray - just to back in time. Others forget the right path.

Reminds of Rumi's one of the very few things I've read:

Whoever claims to have made a pact with Destiny

Reveals himself a liar and a fool;

What is any of us but a straw in a storm?

How could anyone make a pact with a hurricane?
