Introduction

Later on, she focuses on pursuing the truth and soundly fulfilling her duties, and no longer relies on Satan's toxins to live, but rather lives by practicing the truth and relying on God's word. Gradually, she escapes the bondage of fame and status, and her soul finally gains freedom and release.

Bryn Oh Blog : The path

The Path is an immersive project based around the exquisite corpse concept sometimes used by the Surrealists. Essentially, each chosen artist adds to a composition in sequence. Eight artists were invited to stand upon one of eight different coloured boxes I had set up. Once all had chosen a box to stand on, a chart was rezzed which listed the order of colours which would hten dictate the sequence of artists to compose the scenes for a narrative.

So if red was the first colour on the chart, then the artist standing on the red cube would begin the narrative. If blue were next then the artist on the blue cube would continue the story after red had passed their part on to them.

The artist who goes first composes a short start to a story. They then pass on this segment to the artist who is next on the list. That artist would then write up a continuation of the narrative and pass it on to the third artist. This would continue until reaching the eighth and final artist.

We seek many things in this world to bring us happiness and inner peace. We set goals and work hard to achieve them. But in doing so, we often neglect our inner needs--the desires of our spirit. We struggle with the push-pulls between inner and outer worlds. Quiet time alone renews us and helps restore our life balance. Solitude is not a luxury.

Quiet times alone bring us back in touch with who we really are. They relieve the stress that afflicts body and mind. Daily responsibilities create what seem like insurmountable obstacles to a peaceful solitude. But we pay an enormous price for ignoring our inner needs. Solitude is not a luxury to be enjoyed only during vacations. We cannot store up its benefits in some spiritual account for withdrawal during the rest of the year. What matters is that we resolve to set time aside each day to honor and nurture our inner selves.

From nature we learn that our creative work in the world requires time for inner growth and change. Seeds receptive to nutrients from earth, rain and sun become the lovely blossoms.
