Le parc zoologique de Thoiry est un parc zoologique français situé dans la région Île-de-France, dans le département des Yvelines, à une quarantaine de km à l'ouest de Paris. Le parc prend place au sein du domaine du château de Thoiry, situé sur les communes rurales de Thoiry et de Villiers-le-Mahieu. Ouvert en 1968 et d'abord géré par son fondateur, Antoine de la Panouse, puis par son fils Paul, il est désormaisgéré par Edmond et Colomba de La Panouse. Il est la propriété du Groupe Thoiry Participations, dont le capital se partage entre la société de capital-investissement Ekkio Capital, la famille de la Panouse et trois autres fonds d'investissement.
Ce parc zoologique, qui s'étend sur 150 des 380 hectares que comprend le domaine, présente environ 750 animaux appartenant à environ 46 espèces de mammifères, 26 espèces d'oiseaux et 9 espèces de reptiles. Il présente également des amphibiens et des invertébrés. Il comporte une partie safari, visitable en voiture, une partie piétonne plus traditionnelle et un parc botanique de 126 hectares comprenant plusieurs jardins à thèmes : jardins d'automne, de parfums, anglais, labyrinthe, roseraie, et un parterre inversé à la française conçu par Claude Desgots.
Il est membre permanent de l'Association européenne des zoos et aquariums (EAZA) et de l'Association mondiale des zoos et aquariums (WAZA).
Il a reçu environ 400 000 visiteurs par an depuis 2012, ce qui en fait le 12e parc zoologique le plus fréquenté de France en 2014. Il fait partie des cinq zoos les plus vastes de France
Franz Josef / Waiau is a small town in the West Coast region of the South Island of New Zealand. Whataroa is 32 kilometres (20 mi) to the north-east, and the township of Fox Glacier is 23 kilometres (14 mi) to the south-west. State Highway 6 runs through the town. The Waiho River runs from the Franz Josef Glacier to the south, through the town, and into the Tasman Sea to the north-west.
The population was 444 in the 2013 census, an increase of 15 from 2006.
The town is named after the Franz Josef Glacier – itself named by Julius von Haast in honour of the Emperor of Austria Franz Josef I of Austria. Following the passage of the Ngai Tahu Claims Settlement Act 1998, the name of the town was officially altered to Franz Josef / Waiau.
The glacier's terminal face is 5 kilometres (3 mi) from the town and its accessibility makes it a major tourist attraction and the reason many people visit Franz Josef. The town is within the Westland Tai Poutini National Park.
Franz Josef offers many accommodation options for the up to 2,000 people staying overnight during the main season, ranging from hotels and motels to holiday houses, camping sites and backpacker accommodation. Other amenities include a petrol station, small but busy heliport and a number of restaurants and shops. The village is connected to the Franz Josef Glacier valley via walking tracks and a small sealed road leading into the valley from the highway just south of the village.
Franz Josef village is also home to the West Coast Wildlife Centre, developed in 2010 and dedicated to hatching and rearing the world's two rarest species of kiwi, the rowi and Haast tokoeka. The centre offers bookings for behind the scenes tours of its kiwi hatching and rearing facilities

Thoiry Zoological Park is a French zoo located in the Île-de-France region, in the Yvelines department, about 40 km west of Paris. It is a permanent member of the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria (EAZA) and the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA).
It has welcomed approximately 400,000 visitors annually since 2012, making it the 12th most visited zoo in France in 2014. It is among the five largest zoos in France.
This blue eyed cutie is 'Angelina'. She is my white themed dotee. Her dress is white-on-white satin. The bottom and neckline is trimed with radiant white touille. She is wearing a shiny silver heart and her dress is embellished with clear tiny micro beads that had a hint of sparkle. Her hanger is made of clear glass beads. Her tail is clear and blue glass beads with a prism at the bottom of each.

I FINALLY got around to finishing this cupboard that I had painted a while ago. This is the 3rd pirate themed cupboard I've made so far. I'm pretty happy with the result. It'll probably be available in my Etsy shop by the end of the weekend.

Sometimes in life there are things lurking in the far back reaches of your fridge... things that you don't see until it's too late... things that you're afraid to move for fear of opening... things that sometimes are just best left undisturbed, until you can muster up enough courage to go to battle...
Sorry for being super gross right off the bat. Thought it was perfect for the theme though! It doesn't look nearly as gross as it used to... I also played with editing a little to make it look grosser :P
I made this set for a swap I did last year on swap-bot. I printed up the photos in black and white as I did not have a color printer at the time. My sweet brother and my wonderful son took advantage of the mud in our backyard. Hayden told me they were "Mud Monsters." and they certainly were.
Stamps are from Blockheads , the tire tracks are from car wheel I found in the alley.
