I made a dream last night, most of the time I don't remember them, but this one felt special. I was walking in a forest, it was cold and the ambiant was a little scary, when I've heard some hoovesteps coming closer and closer to me. I looked in the imensity of the landscape and saw a magnificent mare, she had a glittery coat with a long blue mane and her legs was like her ancestors, she had a flowers crown on her head and what I remember the most is her soft and piercing gaze. When I woke up, I still saw her gaze, that's when I thought, Am I Dreaming ?

It's that time of the year again !
The Dog & Pony Show Shopping Event 2023 is officially open !

How lucky are we to have those three amazing Fjords mare in our Ranch ? We saw them some times ago on a horses sales website and immediately fell in love with their sweet face. They are tree sisters, they have the same sire but not the same dam, hence why the difference of coats, at first, we only wanted to get one, but in the end... Well, we got them all ! Never separate the family, especially when they grew up together. We went to Norway to bring them back, I can say we gonna make amazing things together !

Today was a long day, it was open doors at the Ranch. We've explained what we were doing here, why we did and so on. A lot of peoples showed up and the horses were really curious about all of them, they are not used to see a lot of peoples in same time, apart from the ones who comes for lessons, boarding their horse or asking for a horse training. We might as well do some sales some days, like... In a very long time after cause we love our horses and don't want them to go ! Anyway, after all this day of showing, it's time to go rest, so our horses are be bringing inside the stables for the night, tomorrow will be more chill. Or maybe new adventures await us, who knows ?

Lucy is a smart, pretty, well-behaved dog but we have no magic between us when it comes to taking pictures. She either doesn't look at me, or when I call to get her attention, she comes to me. You probably wonder what is that horse with stripes and paint markings ?! Well, let me answer that question. It's a cute cross between a paint horse and a zebra. Hence why it does have those cute ears and strange tail. We are so glad she take the markings from her mama and the stripes from her dad. So happy to be able to call this cutie ours, she'll grow up a little more but not so much cause we all know, zebras aren't that tall !
You might have another question about the collar the mare have on her neck, well, this pretty here is cribbing on fences that means she'll literally destroy them with her teeth ! This collar will avoid her to do, don't worry it's without danger for her, it have a little furred part on the top and under her jaw as well. It will prevent us as well to change the fences every weeks.. We'll see how it goes !

During the afternoon, two horses went for a walk into the forest, they were playing around the trees and flowers until... A unicorn came to meet them ! Early in the morning, the sounds of hoofs was heard in the sand arena, some training was happening This pretty mare started to be trained with some little cavalettis jump to help her with her legs, she's already so nice in external riding but sometimes she just hit the logs, hopefully this will help her knowing her legs better !

Funny thing happen today. I was about to clean the stalls but I'd forgotten something in the tack room, so I'd left the rake outside the stall of that pretty mare and leave for a few minutes, during thoses minutes she decided she would start cleaning her mess ! Hopefully we have cameras in the barn otherwise I would have been confused of why the rake was in her stall !

I've seen an Akhal Teke mare for sale, she was a real beauty with her sooty coat and she catched my eyes the second I've seen her on the video. Sadly, I couldn't afford her and I was just hoping she would end in a good home, if it wasn't at the Ranch with us.. My friend, who went in Turkmenistan, sent me different photos of thoses amazing Akhal Teke horses as he went to visit many stables. And then, he sent me this photo, THIS is the mare I've seen for sale that catched my eyes and heart ! I've told him about her and he said "well, consider she's coming home with us when I come back". I couldn't believe it, she was coming to the Ranch ! I can't wait to see her in real, after all this time, this is a dream come true !
