"Oh, you can't tell me it's not worth tryin' for

I can't help it, there's nothin' I want more

Yeah, I would fight for you, I'd lie for you

Walk the wire for you, yeah I'd die for you

You know it's true

Everything I do, oh, I do it for you"

Happy Valentine to all you who are in love !!!

This is one of thousands shots I’ve made of my 3year old boy Alex .... Preparing and cutting all those hearts and sticking them to a wall was such a great fun for him ... And after all his effort I’ve just wanted one goofy smile, as he does it all the time.. But no, he was so serious. I couldn’t believe it! Now he wants to pose for me like he’s an adult. He keeps saying all the time ...mum... I'm the man !!! I'm the man !

Guess ...my baby is growing up so fast !

Have a wonderful time this V-day just like every other day !!

Textured with JP Flypaper's "Mystic Hues" and "Creme Anglaise". I grew these wildflowers from a pack of seeds tossed into a small patch of ground on my little patio. At first it looked like I was growing nothing but weeds, but then little flowers started sprouting. Hard to see the small white flowers in this shot though. Oh and the lavendar was the only item not org. from seeds. Can't wait to see what else will be blooming...

Went to Huntington Central Park today as I got off work early and had my lens with.. wanted to check out the black plum tree blossom trees and sure enough they are in full bloom. And not only that...but I saw so many birds today...like this pretty lil Song Sparrow who was singing up a glorious melody. Saw the Owl but he was too high up and backlit to get a good shot of. Also got pics of a White-Faced Ibis..of all things..and discovered a medium size flock of Cedar Waxwings who have arrived for spring. Also many phoebes, bush tits, house finches, hummingbirds, goldfinches, two red shouldered hawks, a Cinnamon Teal..lots of other ducks, Northern Shovelers which are so lovely. The Cinnamon Teal is lovely as well...and I am wondering why it doesn't say in the book that the breeding male's eye is red? I would think they might mention that in the Sibley Guidebook. Saw other birds that I can't think of names of right now plus all the usual suspects-gulls and crows and blackbirds...what else..egret and great blue heron and Eared Grebe..actually as I was standing at the pond (in the mud)...I had the White-faced Ibis, Egret and Heron all nearby..the teal was swimming nearby..but most of the time he was obstructed..seemed shy..lots of coots, mudhens, mallards, wigeons, and more...then I heard the high pitch hum/whistle of the flock of Waxwings...then I looked the other direction and there was a hummingbird..It was pure JOY! Really in all the time I've been going to HCP, I've never experienced such a vast array of different kinds of birds...

Of course..after just three hours..and 700 plus pics..and holding the 300mm f/2.8L lens mostly "UP", it was time to go and attend my afterwork errands...my dumb foot hurts like heck too...I guess it is never going to get better all the way (Plantar Fasciitis and heel spurs)...tonight I ache all over..I am not in the best of shape. However, when I am out and about taking pics and really into it..I don't notice the aches and pains hardly at all..only afterward. Been noticing a correlation between being in creative mode and have not a care or pain in the world...very interesting..Well..I will take a Motrin and get to sleep early tonight...

Composite shot...taken at San Jacinto...added hummers and b-fly...plus textures.

I want to congratulate my friend Jody (Dogma) who got her images featured in Digital Photo Magazine (UK)...plus I dedicate this image to her...since she was so sweet to mention my name and my Glorious Nature Art Overlays and Textures which she used in one of the images they chose to feature...Congrats Jody and thanks!

JP Flypaper's "Mystic Hues" and "Spring Equinox" textures used...thanks for the title for my pic!
