Bayou La Batre is the seafood capital of Alabama but its main industry is ship building. Most of the shrimp boats you find there would have been built locally. I processed this image in Photoshop and textured it using Lenabem-Anna J’s textures 334, and 389 plus a couple of other textures.

Watkins Glen State Park is in the village of Watkins Glen, south of Seneca Lake in Schuyler County in New York's Finger Lakes region. Known for its natural beauty, the Watkins Glen State Park features a series of waterfalls and gorges that are sure to amaze anyone. An almost two mile hike will take you past 19 waterfalls and up over 800 stone steps. We spent a morning there in October; it was a true bucket list experience. We went on a weekday morning, so there weren’t a lot of people. The water flow was down, but the fall colors were at their peak. The manmade stonework blends seamlessly with the natural stone, like it was made by the dwarfs of Middle Earth. The hike was so amazing I didn’t even notice the 800 steps.
I processed this picture in Photoshop using four textures.

Night, the beloved. Night, when words fade and things come alive. When the destructive analysis of day is done, and all that is truly important becomes whole and sound again. When man reassembles his fragmentary self and grows with the calm of a tree.. . . I longed for night and the rebirth in me of the being that merits love.
