This started out as a photo of an apple and it ended up as this. 37 layers and twice as many Photoshop edits and alterations.
This is an image taken last weekend in my observatory featuring the open clusters NGC 6167, NGC 6134 and the rarely photographed (but beautiful) dark nebula SDC334.7-1.0 in the Norma constellation. My thanks to João Ribeiro de Barros from SONEAR.

Exp. 70 mins., LRGB (14 x 5 min.)
