After a few days suffering from a severe case of sudden onset hyper-pareidolia, what a shock and relief it was to see this gnarled face peering from the trunk of an old oak tree. I do hope that others recover from this disturbing illness to have a HMM.

The first one of my 111 pictures in 2011 challenge. No 27 - fruit... plus 2 textures to distress it a little. Plus, clearly, too much time on my hands!
