I love taking photos of barn owls but usually they are wild and free this poor lady was tethered to a post on display to the public.. Shame

Lightroom 2.3, Leopard, and Nikon Control mean I can finally shoot tethered. Wonderful, wonderful days.

..... hv noticed that this tripod max. recommended load is 6kg and i've loaded on top of it 13.4kg !!!

  

This is how Miles spent many an hour at Cooper Lake. I tied a couple of ropes to the canoe and he'd paddle out until he reached the end and then pull himself back in. Great fun. That is Joel swimming way out there. The sun was warm but the water was cold. If I swam that far out I'd shrivel up and die.

Tethered horse in Coseley. Apparently a Black Country tradition

At the end of a day's sailing we arrived back in the harbour at Solva. From the harbour wall I spotted this rowing boat. By isolating it in the water it creates a composition which for me is full of mystery.
