Model test

This is actually the second one I made today until I got the exact amount of puff at the knees as I wanted.

They came out rather well. They have working front pockets that make them adorable. Plus I still need to sew some leather straps at the cuffs that make them even cooler :P

Now working on the blouse and the turtle neck, and some crocheted headkerchief that make the whole ensemble pretty cute.

Lens test of a 50mm f/1.8 Nikkor (a great lens otherwise) focused on the star Beltegeuse in Orion, showing severe sagittal coma flare when opened wider than f/2.8, something that a noctilux (class) lens is corrected for.

Using a draft made with calligraphic pen I tried to quickly trace over the letters and form simple words.

This was a light test after I done the regular make-up student shots for Paintiton. Mandi came along after and she was kind enough to stand in so I could try a few different setups. She was busy txting anyway.

Lights 2x600w one in softbox right. One with hood behind.

Testing the MotionX GPS app on iPhone4 to track my snowboard runs.

Last Run Of The Day at Okemo Mountain Resort Feb 5, 2011. Tracked with MotionX GPS on iPhone4.

Wanted to test objects on a white background to get that seamless look.

Set a grey card as WB and metered off the card, locked meter reading then shot the object. Came out ok.

Did the same with a pen though and the pen came out overexposed... WHY?!

I test 3 mold release:

olive oil, liquid dish soap and liquid hand soap.

Olive oil and dish soap works well.

Liquid hand soap is too thick.

takarak this is just a test of that little toy thingy... i didnt do a very good job, i could probably make it better, i think i need a better picture first... but i think i know how to do this effect now atleast!
