Lighting details: 540EZ through a piece of translucent Elmer's corrugated plastic. (They come in handy I'm finding, setup shot)
This is where to put the electrical tape if you're using a hotshoe flash on a metal cold-shoe (the triggering is done via the PC sync cord on the side)
Miss Kiwi
She is very shy...until you have a carrot. This guinea pig is seriously as big as a 4 week old kitten. lol
Wanted to test objects on a white background to get that seamless look.
Set a grey card as WB and metered off the card, locked meter reading then shot the object. Came out ok.
Did the same with a pen though and the pen came out overexposed... WHY?!
Very expired Svema Foto 65 developed in Microphen 1+1 dilution with adding a little bit benzotriazole.

My trip to Japan next February will need very different camera skills to the ones I currently use. A long lens (150-600mm) is a much different beast to the usual 24-70 and 70-200mm lenses that I am used to handling so I thought I'd give it a go with a trip to Edinburgh's Royal Botanical Gardens. This is my favourite image of the day with the duck bending over to preen its feathers. If you look really closely, you can actually see my reflection in the eye of the duck, that is how good this lens is!
Another shot as this image with the crimelite.
Along with the following Test Image 3 I have decided tat I'd be better off with a single exposure and no humnas in the pic than tryin to ge the right mix of exposures for proper blending. Plus these would need reshot anyway as it's all a bit dark.
Un interessante test di Panning letto su una rivista ove non e' il soggetto a muoversi, ma l'obbiettivo zoom! ..
