Amazing smock made by MforMonkey. It was supossed to be for Odecos, but Hobbes stole it... And at the same time, Mochi, my odeco, stole Hobbes MforMonkey shirt. Oh well.
A very low-tech test shot of the Keay Street diorama, with the bits I've made so far fairly crudely set up in place, to get a rough idea how things might look (and the giant Venetian blind at the rear won't be making an appearance in the final pictures....). The terrace of houses at the rear of the picture needs windows and interiors/a roof, chimneys, etc, the whole right side of the factory on the street needs building, and the windows need finishing, drainpipes, etc, adding - so a huge amount of work still to be done...

After the horrible "drop" incident at Western Ave, B&H delivered a present in the form of a Nikon 18-300MM lens. Now, I should not have to switch lenses for the big tele shots. After unwrapping the lens I went trackside to nab #3 at Belmont. I hit both a long tele then stood back for this wide angle at high speed to test the limits. Not bad at all. Expensive mistake, but at least I received a new toy from the mess.
this is a page of test prints for an idea. it was just made to see how the ink would work and to clean the screen. 5 layers on illustration board!

das schichtding hab ich eben einfach zum testen gemacht, habe einfach abgetropften sojajoghurt (den hab ich über nacht in einem küchentuch abtropfen lassen) mit ein bissel fertigem vanillepudding und agavendicksaft vermischt und diesen dann in ein glas geschichtet: zuerst eine schicht hellen zwieback, den ich mit rum beträufelt hatte, dann apfel-mangomus (war mir aber zu sauer, beim nächsten mal lass ich das einfach weg), dann joghurt, dann mit apfelsaft leicht eingekochte birnenstückchen mit ein bissel rum und dann wider alles von vorn. oben drüber dann noch kakaopulver.
also nix spannendes, werde es am geburtstag ein bissel verfeinern, aber das grundgerüst ist ok

Test roll: almost all images are ruined. On the lower & left side of the negative. Why, I don't know. (BTW some images don't have this problem.) What's happened??

Princess of Japan on Disney Store Mulan body - without flash
The body is a tad darker than the head, has a bit more of a grey tone to it. It depends on how critical one is, but it could work for her.
Test Roll of Lomography CN 400 in my new Lomogrpahy Konstruktor DIY SLR.
Held a Holga 60mm close up lens in front of the lens barrel and worked quite well. Little over exposed though.
Overall the pictures are okay. I don't think I'd be using it that often, the 1/80 shutter speed is just a bit too slow unless you stop and stand still.
Also it likes to eat film.
