Test prints test prints everywhere, but not a drop to drink. Probably because you can't drink paper; but i digress.
A small subset of the numerous test prints i've been doing tweaking everything. Damn LCD's and their utter inability to recreate printed type.
Top Left - An early version (EFGHIOPRSTU were all the glyphs i had at this stage). The radius of the curves is a lot less than it is now (and was before this). Was a failed experiment in geometric stubborness; I wanted to avoid squaring off the G or having 2 tiers of radiuses. Turns out that squaring off the G was a much better compromise, as the whole feel of the face suddenly shifted dramatically, and not in a good way.
Bottom Left - The current working revision (i.e. the bit of paper I will be having a staring competition with if you see me around the studio). All characters are present and accounted for, though a fair number need a lot of tweaking (Widths & diagonal stroke weight being the two big issues)
Right (Top & Bottom) - Parochial test phrases. Good words though, used for testing the trapping on the joins of M N & W. Our esteemed capital has a W and two N's, and Manganui has an M and two N's. Both of a suitable number of other glyphs to compare weight against. Choice bro!
--Edit: I have just been informed that apparently I can't spell; maunganui actually has two U's in it. Apologies to all the drunken 16 years olds of Tauranga.

At work - doing a controlled test fire.
Chemical (dust/powder form) tossed into the fire - Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate (ASA)
terpolymer similar to ABS, but with a saturated polybutadiene.
This powder is used in building and construction, recreation materials, and automotive parts. - and it catches fire...... make you wonder WTF? LOL
Sometimes - in a fire you can see the evil face!
Kind of like the faces I find in the clouds.
