With rain drops on the lens and a soaking wet photographer, 86259 "Les Ross" heads south at Leyland with a rather earlier than planned Cathedrals Express railtour back to Euston on 05 December 2015. Due to severe flooding in Cumbria the WCML was closed so the outward leg (1Z86) had been terminated at Carnforth, where steam had been due to take the tour onto Appleby via Carlisle. 1Z87 then ran back south from Carnforth with the rain still pouring down and the winds gusting thanks to Storm Desmond.

One of the projects I have wanted to do for awhile is a series of Nurgle (lord of decay) marines in the terminator armor. Since I only needed 1 terminator (the box has enough parts to make 5) for the diorama I'm working on...

A little enhancing the native color. Effects added.

This T-1000 has been terminated. For good.

The infiltrator unit and the battle unit.

For the infiltrator I used Cable's body with Corp Commander's arms and weapon (don't worry it was a dup). He was my unique field agent in the Mods for the Month of May.

For the battle unit I use Brainiac's body, gun of HDC Trooper, head of Shambling Zombie and the feet of the Wildman.

The dial I used for both was Bishop. I used Bishop LE for the Battle Unit; his first click of invuln with running shot and regen at the end make him very true to form. Bishop Vet was used with the infiltrator. He has outwit on his first click which can be explained as getting people to let there guard down. They trust him, let him into their home then he destroys them.

After entering in the Relic painting competition I was inspired to try another model -- this one is for a local competition. Everyone has one month to paint this bad boy; he's due the first Sunday in May. I'm probably 75-80% finished already but want some suggestions on the force staff.

I've tried to do source lighting again -- not object source (OSL) -- and highlighted the armour as though the light were slightly forward and on his left side. When I get him in to the photo box this effect should show up better. It is most visible on his pointing arm where it's nearly black except for the light blue on the top.
