he N.V. Mixed Company Nederlandsche Omroep-Zendermaatschappij, or Nozema for short, existed from 1935 up to and including 2004 and had the core activity of broadcasting radio, television and data signals.
Nozema was founded in 1935, on the basis of the Radio Regulations from 1928 Telegraaf- en Telefoonwet 1904 (Radio Broadcasting Station terminator ROZ) came into force. [1] It was then the only broadcast company in the Netherlands that was allowed to broadcast for radio broadcasting and later television broadcasting. In the 1990s, the market was opened to other parties who wanted to broadcast.
Alpenglow (from German: Alpenglühen) is an optical phenomenon in which a horizontal red glowing band is observed on the horizon opposite to the sun. This effect occurs when the Sun is just below the horizon. Alpenglow is easiest to observe when mountains are illuminated but can also be observed when the sky is illuminated through backscattering.
Since the Sun is below the horizon, there is no direct path for the light to reach the mountain. Instead, light reflects off airborne snow, water, or ice particles low in the atmosphere. These conditions differentiate between a normal sunrise or sunset and alpenglow.
Although the term may be loosely applied to any sunrise or sunset light seen on the mountains, true alpenglow is not direct sunlight and is only observed after sunset or before sunrise.
In the absence of mountains, the aerosols in the eastern portion of the sky can be illuminated in the same way at sunset by the remaining red scattered light straddling the border of the Earth's own shadow (the terminator). This back-scattered light produces a red band opposite the Sun.

Situated at the base of the Coromandel Range, the Karangahake Gorge Historic Walkway follows the old railway line between Paeroa and Waihi, giving access to impressive remains from the mining and railway eras.
This walkway features historic railway remains in a stunning natural gorge setting, including two steel truss bridges and a 1 km rail tunnel, and provide access to the relics of historic gold mining. The walkway follows the railway line through the gorge and then opens out alongside the Ohinemuri River, passing through the huge Victoria Battery complex and terminating at the Waikino Station where a cafe and train rides can be investigated.

The future looks grim and the thought of giving up sounds liberating. But that is not for us the warriors. The stakes are high when fighting for a future. Sometimes we have to make sacrifices in order to progress.
We most terminate those bad thoughts that impede us to move forward.

Watching this cormorant it seemed to have a taste for small tench. In the couple of hours I spent at the reservoir it had at least 4.

The A27 is a major road in England. It runs from its junction with the A36 at Whiteparish (near Salisbury) in the county of Wiltshire. It closely parallels the south coast in Hampshire, then passes through West Sussex and terminates at Pevensey (near Eastbourne and Bexhill) in East Sussex.
The line that separates day and night is called the terminator. It is also referred to as the "grey line" and the "twilight zone." It is a fuzzy line due to our atmosphere bending sunlight. www.terryaldhizer.com
Not Arnold's Terminator! This is the term used for the line between the light and dark areas on the moon. This is heavily cropped, but shows a lot of detail.
A handheld shot taken with the Canon R10 fitted with the RF 800mm lens combined with the RF 1.4 extender which gives an equivalent focal length of almost 1800mm.
Very grateful for today's amazing image stabilising technology!
A closer look at the confluence of Glacier Los Leones south, center and north glaciers where they descend from the icefields of Parque Nacional Laguna San Rafael (upper left) and terminate in the beautiful glacial green Lago Leones, Patagonia. Several avalanche tracks can be seen on the steep cliffs to the right of the image.

These are the Four Peaks - Wekopa - east of Scottsdale.
I went out to the Fraesfield Trailhead to scout for sunrise locations. Leaving my house the sky was mostly clear so I figured this was going to be mostly hiking and not much photography so I left my tripod at home. As I hit Happy Valley Road and crossed over the mountains the clouds were rolling in over the Superstitions and the Salt River. Made me regret not bringing my tripod.
I found some spots on the Whiskey Bottle Trail for sunrises. I'm going to scout the Granite Mountain Trailhead. So far I still like the spot on the Marcus Landslide Trail.
I stopped at the Brown's Ranch Trailhead to scout for sunset spots. Some potential.

The Whiskey Bottle Trail is a new trail in the expanded northern section of the McDowell Sonoran Preserve. The trail starts at the Fraesfield Trailhead and heads northwest across the northeast side of  Fraesfield Mountain and terminates at  Powerline Road #2. From there, you can go back the way you came, or continue throughout the system of trails making a larger loop back to the Fraesfield Trailhead.
