Der fünfte Teil der Science-Fiction-Filmreihe "Terminator: Genisys" spielt im Zeitraum zwischen 1984 und 2029 und zeigt, wie sich die Menschen in der Zukunft im Widerstand von John Connor (Jason Clarke) gegen die Maschinen schlagen.
Um seine Mutter Sarah vor einem durch die Zeit reisenden Terminator zu schützen, schickt John Connor seinen loyalsten Kämpfer, Kyle Reese, erneut in die Vergangenheit. Ein unvorhergesehenes Ereignis hat jedoch alles verändert und Kyle findet sich in einer alternativen Zeit wieder, in der Sarah zu einer geschickten Kriegerin ausgebildet wurde und einen Terminator T-800 an ihrer Seite hat. Plötzlich hat Kyle eine ganz neue Aufgabe: Es gilt, die Zukunft wiederherzustellen.

European premiere TERMINATOR: GENISYS
The fifth installment of the science fiction film series "Terminator: Genisys" is set between 1984 and 2029 and shows how humans in the future fight against the machines in the resistance of John Connor (Jason Clarke).
To protect his mother Sarah from a time-traveling Terminator, John Connor sends his most loyal fighter, Kyle Reese, back in time. However, an unforeseen event has changed everything and Kyle finds himself in an alternate time where Sarah has been trained as a skilled warrior and has a Terminator T-800 at her side. Suddenly Kyle has a whole new mission: to restore the future.

I did this for a contest on the Brickarms Forums. This is the scene in Terminator 2 where the T-1000 chases the T-800 into an elevator.
Putting the other half of that Calth characters sprue to use. This was a pretty simple kitbash, even if making room for the Terminator Lord head took a bit of creative cutting.
Really happy with the end result of this conversion, and the base - a mini diorama of sorts, I suppose - was quite the striking success, in my opinion. Certainly not bad for a spare bloodletter head, some hot glue and a paperclip. :)
If I could choose to improve on one thing, it would be the glow of the staff head - I've tried blue glows a few times, without any great success. Might be that I simply don't have the right colours - I may have to pick up some electric blue layers if I keep making psykers.
All in all though, proud of this project and somewhat self-satisfied to be able to say I now have a fully converted representation of each Chaos Marine HQ. I may have to add alternative versions as time goes on - a Jump Pack Lord, a Sorcerer on a Disc of Tzeentch, etc - but for now, I'd say this is quite an achievement in of itself. :)

These are the Black Reach Terminators. i'm a fan of the colour blue, so i searched for blue chapters and Ultramines were everywhere, so i thought i'd give Crimson fists a go. i'm gonna get a bunch of these for the new chapter very soon!!!

A progress update on my Chaos Terminator Lord, HQ unit for my Emperor's Children. Such a badass sculpt! Purple is mostly done, next up some further shading and highlighting to finish the gold.
This was all I did originally. I later decided to try drawing the whole body. Though difficult, and a lot of short cuts were taken, it worked pretty well. But here is only the skull.
This dark, menacing feline is Terminator. He is a feral cat who lives around the farm and we feed him.
In human terms, he would like to be known as "fluffy lapcat" but unfortunately he is inept in social situations. For example, if you feed him, you see a look of confusion cross his face as he feels something is called for - maybe a purr or a meow of thanks? He works himself up to say something, the panic reaches a crescendo as he tries to decide - meow or purr? - and then he blows it by hissing and spitting.
He is unaware of the existence of such things as litter trays and has fought his way up in the countryside cat gangs to gain the territory he commands today. It was in one of these fights that his ear got damaged.
His favourite food is plump juvenile bunny. Behold him, and despair.
