Lower Grand Ave in downtown Los Angeles was a location used to film a segment of the chase in the 1984 sci-fi classic "The Terminator".
This is the old Terminator repainted in the new scheme. I much prefer how the red ties in the NMM gold, white and bolter colours. Plus really didn't take that long to go over (which makes a welcome change!) I have left a couple of pictures of the old model for a comparison. Thanks for looking and as always comments are welcome :)

Waiting at Station Rise, hired Optare Solo YJ59NNC has just terminated on a short-formed service 26 operating only between South Bank and the rail station (Station Rise). Service 24 was also terminating here at Station Rise whilst 26 from Fulford was terminating at Merchantgate. Due to the timings, the 26 terminator from South Bank had a considerable wait here. This Solo is one of two from the four which now have black Arriva vinyl logos applied on the dash panel - they won't receive the Arriva livery as theyr are only on loan from Dawson Rentals until the end of 2013, when they'll be replaced by brand new 63-plate Solo's fresh off the Optare production line just down the road in Sherburn.
Due to a Skyride event, whereby for one day of the year several roads in York are closed off so cyclists can ride around York without being forced off the road by someone who thinks all cyclists should pay 'road tax' or not use the roads, York city centre was effectively closed in several places which led to some interesting bus diversions.
