I was originally enrolled into the GETTY IMAGES collection as a contributor on April 9th 2012, and when links with FLICKR were terminated in March 2014, I was retained and fortunate enough to be signed up via a second contract, both of which have proved to be successful with sales of my photographs all over the world now handled exclusively by them.
On November 12th 2015 GETTY IMAGES unveiled plans for a new stills upload platform called ESP (Enterprise Submission Platform), to replace the existing 'Moment portal', and on November 13th I was invited to Beta test the new system prior to it being officially rolled out in December. (ESP went live on Tuesday December 15th 2015 and has smoothed out the upload process considerably).
With visits now in excess of 18.107 Million to my FLICKR site, used primarily these days as a fun platform to reach friends and family as I have now sold my professional gear and now take a more leisurely approach to my photographic exploits, I would like to say a huge and heartfelt 'THANK YOU' to FLICKR, GETTY IMAGES and everyone who drops by.

Photograph taken at an altitude of Forty one metres, during the magic of the Golden Hour around sunrise (Sunrise was at 06:59am), at 06:19am, on Thursday 1st October 2015 off Lullingstone Lane beside the Lullingstone Roman Villa in the village of Eynsford, Kent, England.
A location where so often a thin veil of beautiful mist can be found, carressing the open meadow just ahead of the old Eynsford Viaduct. I often see a lone and very large old Badger walking around here, and love the quiet contemplative time this area offers me.

Very rarely used by LNER services, Azuma 801207 is stood at Platform 4. It had arrived from Newcastle, a bus replacement being used to continue the journey due to engineering work. It left later as 5Y74 to Neville Hill. To the left is Azuma 801108 with 1D06 Grantham to Leeds.
The full Terminator Squad. all ready for combat. Has been a long time since I completed a squad fully and it is definitely motivational to see them all painted and finished. Shall now begin to finish my vanguard veteran squad!

A few small uploads of things I've had forever.
The Terminator CIWS is an incredibly powerful ship defense weapon used by the US Navy on only the largest ships. It features twin GAU-8 30mm gatling guns each with 1100 rounds, as well as 8 RIM-162 Evolved SeaSparrow Missiles. The system can track up to 25 targets and engage at up to 30nm. Terminators also feature a mid power laser for engaging aircraft launcher anti-ship missiles. They are generally used in compliment to Phalanx II CIWS and stand-alone RIM-162 units. Plans exist to mount Terminators on HEMTT trucks or even Krieger IFV chassises to serve as a mobile, mid-range missile defense system.
Heavily inspired by the Russian Kashtan CIWS.
The Easter Parade terminated outside my apartment block but as my windows face away from Bolton Street I was afraid that I might not be able to get any usable photographs of the parade but things did work out too bad even though members of the public did frequently block my view of the event.
Since Ireland joined the United Nations in 1955, the Army has been deployed on many peacekeeping missions. The first of these took place in 1958, when a small number of observers were sent to Lebanon. A total of 86 Irish soldiers have died in the service of the United Nations since 1960
As of 1 December 2015, 493 Defence Force personnel are serving in 12 different missions throughout the world including Lebanon (UNIFIL), Syria (UNDOF), Middle East (UNTSO), Kosovo (KFOR), German-led Battle Group 2016 and other observer and staff appointments to UN, EU, OSCE and PfP posts. The largest deployments include:
Lebanon (UNIFIL) 51 Infantry Group, Syria (UNDOF) 50 Infantry Group.
The Army has historically purchased and used weapons and equipment from other western countries, mainly from European nations. Ireland has a very limited arms industry and rarely produces its own armaments.
From its establishment the Army used the British-made Lee–Enfield .303 rifle, which would be the mainstay for many decades. In the 1960s some modernisation came with the introduction of the Belgian-made FN FAL 7.62 mm assault rifle. Since 1989 the service rifle for the Army is the Austrian-made Steyr AUG 5.56 mm assault rifle (used by all branches of the Defence Forces).
Other weapons in use by the Army include the USP 9mm pistol, FN MAG machine gun, M2 Browning machine gun, Accuracy International Arctic Warfare sniper rifles, AT4 SRAAW, FGM-148 Javelin Anti-tank guided missile, L118 105mm Howitzer, RBS 70 Surface to Air Missile system.
The Army has purchased 80 Swiss made Mowag Piranha Armoured personnel carriers which have become the Army's primary vehicle in the Mechanised infantry role. These are equipped with 12.7 mm HMGs, or the Oto Melara 30 mm Autocannon. The army also has 27 RG Outrider light tactical armoured vehicles. The Army has no tanks, but does have a variant of the FV101 Scorpion light armoured reconnaissance vehicle, with a 76.2 mm main gun.

Photograph taken at an altitude of Fifty five metres at 12:47pm on Tuesday April 18th 2017, in front of the Tempio di Vesta (Temple of Vesta), located in Via dei Fori Imperiali, near the Regione VIII Forum Romanum and House of the Vestal Virgins in Rome, Italy.
This is one of the oldest known structures located in the Roman Forum, once a storehouse for legal wills, documents of Roman Senators and cult objects including the Palladium. It is believed that the temple was built in the 7th century BCE by Numa Pompilius. Destroyed and rebuilt countless times, the current surviving section was reconstructed in the 1930's during the Dictatorship of Benito Mussolini, following it's complete destruction in 1549.
This view is taken from Collis Palatium (Palatine Hill), close to Orti Farnesiani sul Palatino (Gardens of Farnese upon the Palatine). Created in 1550 on the Northern section of Palatine Hill by Cardinal Alessandro Farnese, these were the first botanical gardens privately owned in Europe.
An adult entry fee in April 2017 is twelve Euros, which allows a two day pass into the Colosseum and nearby Palatine Hill.

Putting the other half of that Calth characters sprue to use. This was a pretty simple kitbash, even if making room for the Terminator Lord head took a bit of creative cutting.
Really happy with the end result of this conversion, and the base - a mini diorama of sorts, I suppose - was quite the striking success, in my opinion. Certainly not bad for a spare bloodletter head, some hot glue and a paperclip. :)
If I could choose to improve on one thing, it would be the glow of the staff head - I've tried blue glows a few times, without any great success. Might be that I simply don't have the right colours - I may have to pick up some electric blue layers if I keep making psykers.
All in all though, proud of this project and somewhat self-satisfied to be able to say I now have a fully converted representation of each Chaos Marine HQ. I may have to add alternative versions as time goes on - a Jump Pack Lord, a Sorcerer on a Disc of Tzeentch, etc - but for now, I'd say this is quite an achievement in of itself. :)
C&C appreciated as always!
56119 has been terminated in Worcester Yard due to a BR Strike Day on the 22nd June 1994. It had been working a Margam to Round Oak loaded steel, which it would continue the following day! The time of the photo was 20.15.
An unidentified LNER "Azuma" is seen terminating in platform 5 on 1S13; the 11.00 service from London Kings Cross to Edinburgh Waverley.
In 1868, the North British Railway acquired the stations of its rivals and built the present station on the site and Hanna, Donald and Wilson of Paisley constructed a series of glazed roofs. In 1897, an impressive glass dome was added.
Electrification came in 1991 and the station was extensively refurbished in 2006 / 2007, including the provision of two new through platforms and the electrification of platforms 12 to 18 in preparation for electric trains from the Airdrie-Bathgate Rail Link Project. From 2010 to 2012, the glazing of the roof of Waverley station was entirely replaced with new strengthened clear glass panels.
