My dad went with me to a meet-up, which was about low-light exposures. There was a section about light painting that really interested him. The last few nights, we've been goofing around in the dark with guitars, pots, pans, vases, flashlights, laser pointers, and anything else we can get our hands on.
This sculpture was very fertile ground for experimentation. The porcelain did some really neat things, since it's not entirely opaque. We had a lot of fun trying different effects with it.
I can't wait to see what Dad wants to try after we go to the HDR meet next month. :)
Mr. Matternot tempts me into taking the coat, but I decide against it. I have no idea that the coat is mine and all my memories are in it.
The story goes that it's bad luck to take petrified wood from the park, and there were letters posted in the visitor center to that effect. Here, Julie tempts fate by picking up a piece of wood, but she put it back where it belonged.
