This picture doesn't do this justice the colors are so deep and beautiful. I can't wait to spin this!

The other night, George asked what fate was. Not sure how I answered, but if I'd seen this, I would have said this is tempting it.

Passing through Chileno on the way back to our hotel I watched these horses get loaded with mesh baskets full of "something" for a trip down the mountain.
It was tempting to see if I could get a ride down the rest of the way myself.
I decided that the refreshments were far more interesting than the ornament I took along to photograph!
What is exotic for me is normal for the locals.
This photo was taken by a Yashica FR-1 SLR 35mm film camera with a Yashica ML1:2.8 f=28mm lens using Kodak Portra 400 135 film, the negative scanned by an HP Scanjet G4050 and digitally rendered in Photoshop.
I had a chance to visit New Orleans in November 2010 - what a great city! I spent one afternoon here back in July 1979 so it was time to come back again. I spent two days just wondering around looking like a wide-eyed tourist. I'm ready to go back again!
