Performing as «mediums» pulling from recorded media, the power of the dead. Clips are collected to form video «dictionaries » of primary symbols or universal archetypes. The performers will improvise a duet made entirely of the video clips. The sounds will come from the source videos. The performance will create a temporary temple for the audience. A focal point filled with celebrities, static and gods. Video content will be selected in a stream of consciousness style of editing, music concrete meets video cut ups inspired by Burroughs and Gysin.

La performance est nourrie de «dictionnaires» vidéos composés de symboles primitifs et d’archétypes universaux. Les participants improvisent un duo entièrement composé de vidéo clips. Le son provient des sources vidéo.
La performance construit un temple éphémère à destination du public. Avec une prédominance de célébrités, parasites et dieux. Le contenu des vidéos est choisi dans un style de montage proche du flux de conscience, la musique concrète côtoie des cut-up vidéo inspirés de Burroughs et Gysin.
This really isn't the right way to do it. Negative pockets should be used really, but I killed all of mine when a bag of Rodinal exploded all over them and proceeded to eat their way through them all - seriously...all.
So, as a temporary measure before scanning I put the negatives in between sheets of an A4 pad. I'm not sure about contamination from the pulp of sheets of paper - doesn't seem to bad. Handling is a bit crap though, so again, I'd recommend the proper tools where possible :).

It can be nerve wracking to work in high places for some people. That used to be the case for me before my family replaced our roof a few years ago. In the beginning to was scary, but then I sort of just got used to being up there. Granted I would have liked to have had some safety gear, but since we were doing the project ourselves it was something we did without.
