I am a self-proclaimed techie. Techies fix things. Techies sometimes break things. And, most importantly, when something is out of a techie's scope of knowledge. Techies tend to know people who fix such things.
And, these people sometimes break things.
Meet Tyler.
He is married to my good friend Bre.
He lives down the street.
And, most importantly, he's an electronics techie.
Tyler fixes expensive radars.
Tyler tinkers with cars.
Tyler repairs blown Xbox power supplies.
Tyler is a good friend to have.
A few months ago, our popcorn maker unexpectedly passed away of what we assume to be natural causes. Tyler was called in to see if he could restore the brain dead critter.
Once it was realized that the screws into the popcorn maker were something none of us had EVER seen before, the operation turned into something of an autopsy.
Techies tend to fix things. And, something, techies break them. I look forward to seeing the working reincarnation of the popcorn maker...with duct tape. :)

I'm a techy girl. My first Blackberry on the left served me well for just shy of two years. But in December 2010, I upgraded to the Blackberry Torch. I love it. I had to charge up the old phone to retrieve one file that didn't transfer over to the new phone. It's felt so unfamiliar to operate the old phone for a short time.
