Aquí y ahora, conmemoremos, pues, nuestro futuro imperfecto...
Every Thursday from May to July our terrace becomes a space in which a program of activities is developed in which the body and the sound are mixed with the educational and participative.
One of the ideals imposed by modernity has been the idea of the future as a hyper-technological, homogeneous and universal concept, where a perfected society could live a pleasant existence in a world full of peace and progress. This goal that we have never been able to achieve does not serve as an anchor in our intentions, but rather as a springboard for this project. Our endeavor has been to blur that image of the future of a scientific manual by inviting a series of artists and groups who defend the imperfection of that future as something to celebrate and not regret. Through the reformulation of concepts of the past, the recovery of rituals and forms that combat an aseptic future and a commitment to the primitive, the pre-technological and the sensitive. Of course, without neglecting what the present brings us ... These tribes of new creators stand up to a society over-stimulated sometimes with sarcasm and humor through play, others with a hint of melancholy, but always with a determined invocation of a future that is no longer what it used to be, in what seems like an assumption and naturalization of some dystopias. Here and now, let us commemorate our imperfect future ...
